I don't want to see the Queensland Cup become a fourth tier competition..
Its a 2nd Tier part-time comp today
That wont change
But the question remains - would you go and watch it without the 3 NRL fringe players

Should RL in Australia really be making decisions on the games direction based around how many people will go to watch Q Cup?
It's NSW that has it backwards with all feeder teams pretty much located all in the Sydney basin. It needs to move to a QLD model with teams spread across the state. I'm sure the token 2-3 NRL players with up and comers and some locals playing will actually increase the interest level in the sport, and do something for country footy in NSW as well.
Do we really need that added cost to the game? For the token few people who will watch that event while waiting for the "Big" game. While you have a product at a decent enough level (2nd Tier), that is well done in QLD cause it covers the whole state and get communities interested.

Just bring back the under 20's for all teams if you want something to lead up to the big game.
another 20 or so players per club from the QLD
How do you work that out ?
There are 12 clubs in the Qld Cup. Thats 240 players.
While in the NRL there are only 3 clubs players 18 to 30 only total 36 all up if just RG or 90 if RG and U20s
Noting that 250 players graduate U20s in NSW Cup & Qld Cup every year
While we're at it bring back smoking durries at halftime, grass hills at every ground, players having second jobs and 80% of games played at 2pm on a Sunday arvo tooHopefully if we get 3 grades to watch, their is no 45 minute breaks between games.Go back to a 10 minute break.Bring back the Big League so we know who these lower grade players are.If Souths are playing at Homebush hopefully they would wear white numbers so the fans can tell who they are.

4 of 14 along the northern coast isn't what I'd call "spread across the state". There are no inland teams in the QLD Cup. Ipswich is about the furthest inland. Toowoomba (Mustangs) have a team in the Colts & other lower grade comps. It's NSW that has it backwards with all feeder teams pretty much located all in the Sydney basin. NSW Cup has teams in Wollongong, Canberra and Newcastle, and the third tier (Massey Cup) spread out last year and looks likely to continue to do so. Maitland, Dubbo, a Western NSW team and Thirroul all partook from memory.
I would like to see a country team or two make it up to NSW Cup but I don't know that it's realistic at this point in time.

You only have to look what happened once reserve grade was taken off, clubs saved a lot of money, and that level below in QLD strengthen
And on this one once RG and then later NYC was removed in Qld NRL clubs you saw the reverse occur as Qld NRL clubs got weaker
What are you going on about?
In QldPlayers 18-36 are spreak across 3 t clubs
We speak English in QLD. I've put it through the tard translater and it's still coming up gibberish.
Is there adequate player stocks in those areas though? Can we really force players to go train and play in those locations? Some northern NSW teams like a Tamworth or Coffs Harbour would be bringing the games to those areas. Even the Central Coast should be a must to ensure that spread and quality of games is there.
How do you account for the Storm who have not dropped in form? After all, they also spread their talent across multiple feedersIn Qld players 18-30 are spread across 3 clubs thats about 3 to 4 NRL next to 9 part time footballs
The standard dropped to the mean average
It takes about 2 years for players to filter up a grade. With NYC being cut in 2015 it took about 4 years for the 2016-17 boys to filter into NRL
While in NSW players 18-30 are concentrated in one team. So the mean average playing standard is higher.
I dont think its no coincidence we have seen Qld NRL clubs start dropping in standard now in 2019-2020
