Will everyone be pissed if he is picked and plays in the World Cup this year?

I think he’s yet to play a full season for us and I don’t want him joining the rest of the team later because he played in the World Cup or god forbid he gets injured there.

Anyway cross that bridge when we get there, he’s got other dramas that have journos sniffing around him now.
I don't care really. Our biggest problem with KP is that he's the captain.

I reckon there's not much in this incident but there'll be repercussions.

Question is who released the footage?
It's not something that would normally be seen in public hence consent is needed.

Nope, not even a little bit

Playing in a high level comp with other high level players is a good thing, a very good thing imo. The confidence he'll gain along with the chance to learn off other players and their pro standards is a big positive

Sure he could get injured but thats a risk every player runs when they step out onto the park. It really shouldnt be a consideration if hes healthy

I was more thinking from the perspective of him not being able to play our final games then being cleared for rep duties.

I agree playing rep footy usually makes players come back playing even better for their clubs.

I also think we need a strong off season and he needs to be a key part of it from start to finish.

So you could say I'm kind of on the fence with it all.

I don’t get the narrative of “who released the footage” same thing when the storm players were caught…..who cares who took the footage and released it, it’s just passing the blame onto someone else…don’t do dumb things and you won’t be caught doing dumb things, pretty simple

biggest problem is we are paying him half a mil more than his production warrants.

Second biggest problem is he is always injured.

captaincy/leadership might squeak onto the podium, although I reckon the inconsistent effort/involvement is a bigger problem.

100%. If he delivers consistent, high level performances worthy of the big price tag then the rest generally takes care of itself.

However, that has not happened and is not likely to if he is injured often.

Definitely overpaid, but we know why that is - I don't see the point whinging about it. It's exactly the same as the Pearce whinging. He was overpaid too, but we were better off with him than without him. Same equation. With them, we could move forward. Without them... well, see this year and our future prospects at the moment. We'd be even further in the toilet without him. We both know that no-one else worth his money is going to come here anyway. It's not like we get Munster or something if KP isn't here. We have the money for Munster anyway, but none of the clout.

Like, we're literally in a position where we have too much money and no-one to spend it on right now. The bulk of our roster is red hot bin juice.

Pretty sure Johnson took the Warriors to a grand final and won a golden boot. I’d be happy if Ponga could do that for us.
You be confused, you think Stacey Jones, WGHB, Shaun did win a world cup, and win the golden boot.
