Poor old Hayne

  • Hayne's positional play was terrible on kick returns, almost resulting in a Qld 40/20.
  • Running back his aforementioned kicks, he looked a shadow of an Origin level fullback.
  • Hayne flat out dropped a bomb, only to be saved by poor officiating.
  • Hayne ran lines during backline movements which hampered his outside men.
  • The dissalowed try at the end; that was a cut-out pass intended to miss Hayne and hit the centre, Hayne jumps in front and gets in the way of delivering early ball in the direction of our best finisher, Morris.

He put his head through a the line a couple of times, and that was it.

He was average at best. Average shouldn't be allowed in the number 1 jersey for NSW. And before you jump in, no, I don't think Gidley should be selected in the Blue's side. Bring on J. Duggan.

You're a genius

Hayne is like Farah last year.....all the Tigers fans wanted Farah in there and he would be better than Buderus yada yada yada...what happened.
Parra fans wanted Hayne in the team at fullback and what did he do?
Sure it was not Haynes fault they were as useless as a group 10 team, but he didnt shine like everyone thought. He was a 3/10

Hayne played crap last night like most of the NSW players, I dont see how you can say "hayne was surrounded by spastics"........ Did you even watch last nights game? Hayne WAS one of the spastics.

Imagine Hayne having a good night, still made more meters than anyone on the field last night with very few chances.

Playing with a bunch of absolute spastics.

I had a cousin that was born with no arms and had other underlying conditions and as a result, passed away at the age of four years old.

Please choose your words carefully as it can have serious effects on ones sensitivity.

Hayne was every bit as woeful as Cooper and Monaghan

The single worst performance from an Origin 1-5 i've ever seen. Not one of them looked even remotely competent. Hayne's performance was lazy at best.

He was out of position for nearly every kick that wasn't kicked straight at him.

This costs NSW momentum and metres every time it happens. You get away with it at club level because you can find a staggered or depleted chase line but in Origin it costs your side every time.

He is not an Origin fullback. The reality is he plays his most damaging football as an extra 5/8 but is too lazy to do the defensive grind required to play there. He is dead set scared of hard work on the field it seems.

If Slater played in that NSW team he would have played 10 times worse the anyone else, easy to play good when in you're in a team full of champions.

Hayne > Slater
