This is exclusive - Rabbitohs wanting to poach 2 junior warriors Eden/edward Wulf and Fabian Kiri. Both backs apparently.

What a scout guy?
Rabbitohs talk up a big game in New Zealand but dont recruit much at all.

I remember them running camps in Mangere - yet I havent seen any of those kids playing for souths. (I maybe wrong).

Both Forwards not backs.
Both young but I reckon Kiri will play NYC next year.

Fabian Kiri plays a bit of rugby for Palmerston Boys First 15 (same schools as Ngani)
He is a big mobile prop / 2nd row.

Dont know much about Wulf but he was part of the Kelston side that won the National Comp.
Must be related to Rudy wulf.

Could be a solution at prop as we slowly turn into Wigan, maybe they would take Mateo back as well.

MOSSOP MOVE MURMURS
St George Illawarra have expressed interest in Parramatta's Lee Mossop in an attempt to bolster their forward pack. The English international is contracted to the Eels for next season but the blue and golds are prepared to release him to free up salary-cap space.
Injuries restricted Mossop to just three games in his NRL debut season and it would not surprise if he asked for a release to return home or join a rival Australian club.

So what the chances of us getting S Burgess when he comes back to league?
He has done everything at South's now and he is going to be in England so Bell would get a trip out of it?
Odds must of doubled from 1% to 2%! :)

Like a lot of players I think Sam will return at some stage but only to one NRL club ... Souths! I do think his grandmother lives in NZ

So is the big news today?

Or as predicted did certain people hear Matai's name associated with the club and jump to the conclusion that he was 100% signing here? And that it wasn't just his agent talking a big game so that Steve can get a better deal on his next contract with the sea eagles? You know, like he's done twice before?

Perhaps a little more scrutiny is needed in the future when names are associated with the club - how many times have these leaks come from agents and then been reported and rumoured as fact? The warriors throw a lot of mud against the wall and very occasionally it sticks.

Sorry but no Matai, no Watmough, no Manu to forwards and most likely no Hoffman.

Eagerly awaiting confirmation of Watmough's contract with the eels and Matai signing a contract with Manly to finish his career there.

I'm more than happy with none of these eventuating. I'd take Hoffman if/when  Matai doesn't come. Don't need both though. It sort of reeks of stop gap measures. We need to stay in the market for middle forwards and I have the feeling Bell would consider it job done if he got these guys.

Back to the point of this thread. Was the 'Blood Moon' last night a signal from the Rugby League gods that at 10:30pm ink was put on paper in Rugby League's first multi-player swap and that today is the day to prepare for the big news?

Would I be right in saying that both Likiliki brothers have been released by their respective clubs and have no contracts for 2015?
