I feel vindicated after sticking up for him all these years. Superb knock and he is developing into a bloody good captain. I am tipping his batting average to be above 50 by the end of his career.

I would have liked to see him get another 4 runs and overtake Tubby, but I'll take 329 NO.

This innings alone will have pushed up his average a bit.

Gutted he didn't try for the world record, opportunities like that don't come everyday.
329 reasons for awesomeness however.

I don't know enough about Cowper to judge but I'd say Hayden is still in front of him atm, but I'd say he has passed Taylor.

Best thing he did was ditch the bimbo he was with. Since then his cricket has got better and he's no longer a brand but a cricketer.

Plus giving up twenty20 has helped him.

[/CENTER]7973253]No was just wondering if he is rated better than Taylor.

Clarke has not finished, I woud suggest in the he will be regarded higher, he is only starting to peak.

Taylor was a solid bat, awesome slip really awesome and a good captain.

Clarke is a solid bat who has some years to become a great, great all round fielder, can bowl a bit, captain solid thus far.

King of the SCG

Sublime shot to bring up an amazing triple century.

Brewongle stand witnessing the first ever triple century scored at the SCG by the home hero of the greatest cricketing catchment in the history of the game on the very special themed Jane McGrath day, I was there.

Kiwis raise your hands if you've seen one if your own score a test triple century

Yup I was there too, amazing day

Thought Hussey was hitting them better, he was so faultless today , a double ton was his easily had we played for individual stats than the team

Will be tough getting the Indians out. Will be groundhog day on day 4 if we dont break early

I was also there today, although down in the O'Reilly concourse. Will be in the members section tomorrow though! Thought the four he hit to get to 299 was a better shot tbh. But a great knock.

Also apparently there was a tweet
"Not the first time he's given up chasing Lara":lol::lol:
