they let koroisau go because they thought luke was staying. there might not be enough room under the cap for a top dummy half. at least there will be some competition for the dummy half spot.

turner might just be signed as a backup player on the nrl minimum wage, and mostly play in the nsw cup

Bookmakers suspended betting markets on Sam Burgess returning to rugby league after he was heavily linked with a switch to Super League side Leeds.

However, he has two years remaining on the deal he signed with rugby club Bath and it would take a significant transfer fee to extricate him from that deal.

Transfer fee aside, few NRL clubs would be in position to afford his salary, although Souths would almost certainly make room for Burgess should he decide to return. Gold Coast also have money to spend under their *salary cap.

ah shit! he shouldn't have left Souths in the first place! he was in his prime and he is one of the best players in the world at league. can't really say the same about him in rugby union!
