Dropped balls / dumb errors and just falling off tackles were the reasons the Titans were still in the game, not JA or losing Russell or the lack of cohesion in attack after the shuffle.

That's shit you tend to get more of in the first few rounds, take the two points, look to improve those areas next week.

Panic when we're still doing the same amount of dumb shit in four or five weeks. Till then I'll take a coupla scrappy wins and not losing touch with the top four early.

For mine I don't mind that we weren't "on" from the get go, we've been on for the start of the season the last two years and kinda limped into the finals, better that we win our share of early games and build through the year.

I thought we would win, but thought the Titans were a good enough chance that I had $20 on them. After the game I haven't changed my mind. The Titans were a good chance and $3 was good value for them even though they lost.
maybe you should have bet on them at the line and you would have won
we were clear favourites so it would have been a fair score

I’m not Brown’s biggest fan (although he was good in the trials and today) but he does things at speed, including distributing the ball in a shift play, which forces the defence to make a decision. JA doesnt. They can simply wait and see what he does and cover accordingly. You need to look at more than just the stats.
This is a better criticism than who he’s related to. He isn’t up to the pace of NRL

So he isn’t just in the side because he’s the coaches son??? Because from what I can see it’s the only reason. Oh yeah and Jakey trained really really hard.

I love how Pou is happy to throw one of our players under the bus to try and prove a point, this time it’s Brown. But he doesn’t do scapegoats lol.

I believe all my shit. The point is I don't believe any of it strongly. There are always multiple ways to interpret data and even to interpret what you see with your own eyes. As an easy-to-understand (I hope) example, I thought we would win, but thought the Titans were a good enough chance that I had $20 on them. After the game I haven't changed my mind. The Titans were a good chance and $3 was good value for them even though they lost. Some of the smooth brains around here would say that any amount was a poor price for the Titans because they ended up losing.

And in fact if they had been saying before the game that the Titans were no chance they would now be crowing that they were right because the Titans lost. I would still say that they are wrong. This is the difference between how the world is seen by someone who understands probability and someone who doesn't.
You may be right. Then again you’re possibly wrong.

So Jake being there made us hold onto the ball better?? Nothing to do with the Rev up they copped at half time??? Poumantics.
BA is too stupid to give them a rev up. Probably gave everyone lollipops. JA would have gotten an extra one.

I’m being completely honest when I say I’d be giving it to him even if he wasn’t an Arthur. He’s not a first grader yet. However, I think it’s a fair assessment to state the fact the coach is his dad is a pretty large reason for his inclusion.

I don’t think he’s ready either, I just think his selection is BA overthinking/overreacting. He could’ve gone with 4 forwards on the bench?

Which utility back should have worn the 17 jumper ?
