We were stupid as f**k until we got to 14-12 and then we finally played smart footy which ultimately won us the game.......hopefully that is a lesson for them for the future.

I am not going to read too much into anything with that, those conditions were atrocious and you won't see them too often to worry too much about.

You should post more often

The more I think on Waqa the more annoyed I get. Wasn't he meant to smash in open space? Wasn't he meant to be a finisher or get it to Fergo to ensure a finish?

There are worse players to be in that position I'm sure, but, I am really struggling hard to remember when her came up with a moment where it mattered critically to the game.

I do feel I remember times he gave me a heart attack though in some dumb play.

This place is batshit fkin mental. What a great effort to grind out a result in absolutely diabolical conditions. Equal best defence in the comp. One point behind the competition leaders. Some of you will have to excuse me for not having a knife to my wrist at this stage :D

Do you think we would have won 11 from 13 by this point of the season?
Depends on when you would have asked me. At the beginning of the season I wouldn’t have known although I would have said it’s unlikely but I am willing to change my view based on new information. I didn’t know RCG would turn so great and that Niukore would improve so rapidly and along with the addition of Matterson we would end up with one of the best forward packs in the NRL. Considering this advantage we go into most games I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect us to challenge for the title and I don’t think we are demonstrating the level to do that at the moment despite being 11/13.

An excellent game given the conditions.
Hard to be critical of handling errors.
Its not so hard to be critical of poor effort and brain snaps of which Sivo and Fergo were guilty but at least Fergo did lots of hard stuff. Sivo needs to snap out of it and quick.
Why are we so bad at The Captains Challenge? We either go off early for no good reason or we miss obvious opportunities. Its puzzling.
Davey should start while Matto is out. Marata should play middle except in emergencies.
Drown was fantastic. That one on one tackle he did on that Shark big guy at speed was phenomenal.
Our bench was great today.
I think we were lucky Moylan played. He was such a handbrake to the Sharks attack. That Trindal (?) guy who played last week was so much better.
No obvious injuries for us is a huge plus today.
Overall I thought we came back into a bit of form today. I was happier with todays win more so than the past few weeks.
Bring on the Dragons. Lets go boys.

I thought you knew more about the game than that. Apparently not
Well he knows enough about the game and maths that if you lose by two points and miss three kicks that kicking one has you level, two and your in front. Cummins was shit, he wanted the eels to win and let the sharks score 3 tries to two. Lucky for him Johnson missed them

I'll say one thing. Kafusi made 2 poor error but this guys going to be good. His acceleration is only 2nd to N.Brown. And he has more power. He will cause so much damage once he gets longer minutes and up to speed of the NRL.

Dave has also adjusted quite well. I like his no nonsense attitude.

And Ray Stone is a mongrel. Another guy with more minutes and time in NRL and will flourish.

Well we have the best defence and not such great attack. Exactly what we should expect with this squad. Our attack will only improve as our spine gets more experience.
