Does anyone think Sef Paulo's position is under threat, he certainly had one of those days

He had a shocker today. I'd probably put Lussick at 13 and play him off the bench. He is ok but I think he lacks strength. We need to make the call soon about him long term though. Ualesi and Alioia could be our long term 13 and there is Tepai.

Sef Paulo is too inconsistent, as a senior player he should be leading from the front instead he was the worst on the field.

Its no wonder the players get frustrated and confused, thats exactly how the fans feel.

Makes you want to walk away from the game sometimes.

The system needs to improve.

Cameron Smith is caught on the Fox mics telling Norrie to stay down, which somehow results in a penalty for a crusher tackle upon review.

Hayne claims he was hit high (and Hayne went to the ground as well) and the ref states that he saw nothing and there is no review.

The rules on the influence of the video ref need to be made clear.

Slaters penalty did if for mine, he wasn't held, he was tackled fair and square and tried to get up before any call was made, yet the exact same thing happed to Hayne in the first half and they held his ankles for an eternity.

Its just double standards.

And that crusher tackle, seriously, I just laughed, what else can you do.

Parra got what they deserved today.

They didn't turn up to play. They didn't want to do the hard yards. Everything they wanted to do it had to be flashy play. Melbourne will just grind away and put you away if that's what you want to do.

Melbourne were too committed, they sort of needed the win more than Parra did.

Parra need to work on too much for mine before they will worry the better sides in the comp. I'm still not convinced we're a Top 8 side this year and at this stage with the Warriors, Storm and Cowboys all outside the Top 8 I'd have to back Parra to miss the Top 8.

Very well said.

Which is as much as I expected him to say. Brad Arthur was never going to unload on the refs, for better or worse. He wants to put the accountability on his playing group. I admire his approach and believe that it will yield long-term results but gee it would have been good to see him give the refs the blast they deserved.

Funny 2gb said reffs made some bad calls but the better team won.Melbourne where red hot but we had bad calls each time we came back in game.
Today showed one thing thou-We need a captain bad.
Next season I think Peats should be considered.
