Barely brushed him imo. And I don't think it matters anyway. Accidents happen. They aren't penalties but are often given. This one was just spectacular.Moylan got him too mate.

Yeah, Isako went all kamikaze there, but the onus is on the defence to account for that?
Might as well just make it illegal to contest the ball.
He didn’t push him, they bumped into each other.Only after he was pushed into him by Roberts, he only had eyes for the ball and Roberts ran Moylan straight in Osaka.
I don't think it is. It was a collision, not a tackle. It is against the rules, though. You've never been allowed to take the legs of an airborne player contesting a kick in the NRL, accidental or otherwise.
Much like an accidental high tackle is still against the rules.

Come on mate, he clearly made considerable contact.Barely brushed him imo. And I don't think it matters anyway. Accidents happen. They aren't penalties but are often given. This one was just spectacular.
Isaako was the one jumping.
I'd say the bloke flying through underneath him was the one who went a bit kamikaze...
The amazingly obvious difference with an accidental high tackle is that you are actually trying to tackle him
This was a guy going for the ball with zero intent to do anything to the other player
Yeah, to go for the ball - as he didYou still have obligations in a contest for the ball.

But also not hit a player in mid air and put him into a dangerous positionYeah, to go for the ball - as he did
Look, how much contact was made is irrelevant imo. Both players have equal rights to contest the ball. No one was trying to tackle anyone. It was just an accident and I don't believe it's a penalty under the rules. But I certainly can't be arsed poring over the rulebook to find out for sure.Come on mate, he clearly made considerable contact.
It was 100% an accident otherwise he would be on report.
Tough one for the Sharks but it’s the way it goes unfortunately.
So Moylan has to back off from the ball because Isako jumps?

He was contesting it. He practically touched it. Would have had a good shot at catching it had issako not got in the wayOf course not, but he wasn't exactly contesting the jump so there is an onus on him to avoid the players legs when he is in the air, same as there has been for ages.

Roberts was trying to run Moylan off the ball, it was an accident and another 50/50 Suncorp Bronco call.He didn’t push him, they bumped into each other.
