It is what it is. We had to try and offload Waqa and Superman and bring in a few prospects. I actually don't mind Simmonson. Atleast he runs as hard as he can. And would cost maybe 200-250k
Waqa is only over 500k and barely puts in anymore

No club would have paid an outside back that much unless they were elite. Was Waqa Blake ever elite? We are cheap skates ffs. We would rather see merkins walk than overpay them.

Hug hug huggity hug!! This started when we called ourselves a development club and we couldn’t develop a turd from a well fed dogs arse. I mean a 3 year deal for Simonsplod?? 2 year deal for Ogden?? 2 years for Mummamoasia??? GTFO!!

The Panthers buy players every year. If you don’t have a junior ready to bring in you need to go to market. Wanting to develop players and actually spending the money are two different things. This is the first year in ages the PLC has spent over $10M on footy. They’ve done it before but it’s always proven unsustainable.

Hard to be successful with a club full of f**ken backstabbers.

Good job captain hindsight. Every NRL club brings promising youngsters into their top 30 and then rissoles them without ever playing a game. Nobody knows for sure how they’re going to develop. Sometimes you get a Penisini and sometimes a Loizou.

He has regressed as he has matured. A simple google and you will see he was in Filters plans.

That's not how it works. We paid what we think he's worth and he agreed a separate payout with the Panthers. Two separate contracts.

And why would he have been on huge money at the Panthers anyway? It doesn't have the ring of truth.
