I thought you said your question was rhetorical? Why are you belatedly bothering typing an answer.
Because you asked me to answer my own rhetorical question. It made me realise its rhetorical nature maybe wasn't so obvious after all.
Save yourself the effort, or (as several are suggesting) have a break and find yourself something else to fill the hole.
It's really no effort mate. I enjoy this sort of thing.

Here's a few examples just from the last two pages:
But none of those started as direct questions for you, did they. Until you tried to fill your relevance deficit by belated replying to dozens of people's observations about the game which they had made while it was being played.

But the doctor will advise it's good if you're lonely and lacking confidence that you're seeking connection through inserting yourself univited into every online conversation you can.

Well like I said, if I can show just one idiot why they're wrong LU will be a better place. I've already helped change the narrative from Jake-Arthur-is-responsible-for-this-lol-at-Poo to which-merkin-chose-to-play-the-Cowboys-in-Darwin? Just doing my bit mate.

I'd say the former is the most likely reason coaches get the arse. Relationships with certain players break down and there are no salary cap implications from sacking coaches mid-contract (or at least there wasn't until recently) so it's easier to axe the coach. At plenty of clubs there are a number of players more important than the coach. If they want him gone it wouldn't be hard to make it happen.
Sounds like a narrative, which usually means bullshit. It isn't hard to work out what tactics suit the rules. Then it's just a matter of building a team that suits those tactics. This isn't done in a vacuum. Other clubs want the same players so you can't just keep building until you have the perfect team because other teams are trying to take the players you've already got. It needs to happen all at once which takes superior resources (e.g. the big four or five EPL clubs) or the stars to align (e.g. Leicester City six years ago).
Sure but the guys who are smart enough to figure it out once are also smart enough to see when things change. Fans might talk about coaches being too dumb to notice <blah> because it helps us feel smarter but the reality is if a hundred merkins on a footy forum can see something then even the dumbest coach can see the same thing. I think the guys that get pushed out of the game usually just burn out, maybe coinciding with a change in squad dynamics eroding their relationships with certain important players. This would usually be the straw that broke the camel's back for coaches moving on or even retiring.

Are you sure??

Ever read the cum throw or listened to Spiro.

I disagree with your thoughts on coaching. Just like school teachers, sure all can teach but how many capture you and inspire?
Anyhows your won't change your mind that's fine.

It's not the lack of resources I'm talking about, it's the abundance of resources available to the clubs who have won multiple premierships. That's the point I'm making. It's good that weaker clubs are a chance of arsing their way to a premiership when the stars align, and hopefully it happens for us. But the experience of the Roosters and Storm (and to a lesser extent the Panthers) over 20 years points to the problem. In that 20 year period we have lost 11 finals matches:

TeamFinals wins over Parramatta since 2002
Storm6
Cowboys2
Broncos1
Panthers1
Rabbits1

How have these clubs fared in that time? All have played in multiple grand finals and won premierships. They are/were clearly stronger than us on a fundamental level. The Broncos are a good example of a club whose fortunes have changed over that time. Are they in a lull or is this the new normal for them? My point is that if we want to win consistently (i.e. be less reliant on luck in a given finals campaign) we need to increase our fundamental strength. I believe the recent constitutional change which ushered in more stability at the top of the football club has been a massive step in that direction, but also these are the people who have shown faith in Brad Arthur. I hope they are continuing to make the club stronger but we just can't know yet. I don't think sacking the coach will give us the short term improvement we need to get to the next level though. The change needs to occur at a more fundamental level.
What about the clubs who have an abundance of resources that haven’t won multiple premierships? All sporting competitions have teams that have sustained levels of excellence and the NRL is no different. It’s not necessarily strongly related to how well resourced they are. Apart from Melbourne all those clubs you mentioned have gone through lean periods like we have as well. It’s all about putting proper systems and place and making good decisions in order to achieve success. Nearly all clubs make poor decisions at some stage which leads to having lean periods. I would say one of the reasons for our lack of success is related to coaching and I hope the current coaching staff makes the necessary adjustments.
Not really because the number of runs where some merkin doesn't get tackled (like scoring a try) is insignificant over the course of 80 minutes of rugby league. It will make no difference to their level of fatigue. It's just the f**king dumbest simile any rugby league watching dope has ever come up with.
You don’t think asking your players to continually barge their way over instead of running good lines and creating overlaps is going to lead to you struggling to score points and take a toll on your players if it’s done over an extended period? How do you explain our mid season fade outs over the last couple of seasons and our struggles in the 20m zone? I’m not the only one saying this. Commentators like Sterlo and Fittler have also acknowledged that we have had to work harder to get over the stripe compared to other teams.

I can understand BA playing JA in the halves what I don't get is why if was the guy who touched the ball more than Moses when in attack..

Moses is on close enough to a million he should touch the ball 70+ times a game..

It's funny I don't remember Salmon being as bad as Jarthur but he got shafted. However, there is an injury crises so you can't blame Brad entirely.
