Can imagine the wankers with 'Lol@Souths' tattoos rubbing their masturbation blistered hands together at half time.
Maguire has only had a half season to teach the Rabbitohs the finer points of attack and I was interested in their
reaction to his half time explosion. Defence will come next but will it be in time to make it a great year.

Inglis is as good as he was at the Storm and is the first player to lose nothing by leaving the joint . . . another blister
for the wankers. Liked the way Reynolds stayed on the paddock and I admit Taylor carried his bag of cement well.
Souths missed the hairy one in defence

Took a change of position though imo but you're right. great blog btw. As far as disagreeing with you, I don't often but I do with regards to Rugby Union...but I'll save it for another day

Don't bother, it's just frustration with my grandson not getting the ball on the wing enough because he's a great tryscorer.

Remembered what I don't like about Hadley. You think he never saw a bloke on the ground with the
ball give a tackler a couple of short jabs and the tackler reply with a face massage.

Common knowledge a lot of my ideas don't conform and another one is that the most important game
a player will win is a home game. Forget rep games or gf's, if a player rewards his supporters who cart
their families out in all sorts of weather to watch their team win 95% of the time then he can do no more.
That's why I regard the Storm as the best I've seen

Now I've heard everything. An independant analysist being hired to denegrate referees.
Any thoughts of me ever reverting back to follow NSW have just been buried. What a load
of f**king wankers and I hope the Blues never win another game even though I appreciate good football.

If Stuart and every other supporter who sit down to piss had Gomersall refereeing on Wed night
they'd be screaming for a Royal Commission. Headbutt Hayne cried after every tackle instead of
taking the rubbish dealt to him like a man as Slater does. Thurston didn't winge when Hayne punched
him and Slater didn't whinge when Hayne interfered with him taking a high ball that could have earned a penalty.

Showing a palm on a cheek and calling it an elbow as the best stop frame they can muster is an example of
how inept any analysis was even if the elbow slipped down afterwards. Presuming there were two reports
done, one on dirty Q and one on dumb NSW, Stuart and his cronies must have money to burn.

Today other than the try that was a try we have Griffin reported as saying last night's performance was
the worst by the Broncos this year. Could have been a lot worse then if Melbourne weren't off their
game a bit in the first half. Some of the Broncos looked to have started the game injured and it's a bit
cheeky to imagine you can leave perfectly healthy strike players out at AAMI and expect to win.

Most of the other stories in the Tele are ammunition for Q . . . Meninga will be rubbing his hands together.

Could have been a bit remiss of me not mentioning the peformance of the Raiders last night. Easy to get
lost in the euphora of a Rabbitoh resurgence but the vibes from the green machine were good.
Still don't think McCrone is quick enough between the ears for a playmaker but he must play somewhere.
If this team had a half that could think a couple of plays ahead they wouldn't need much more.

When Edrick Lee fills out a bit more he'll be as exciting a player as Inglis with a bit of luck and I liked
the way he threw himself into the forwards taking the ball up. If Ballin did go to the Raiders he'd bring
the experienced stability in the middle they need. Imo it's uncomfortable having an on-again off-again
superstar like Dugan but what choice is there.

We're looking at a team here that if it had a reliable fullback, stability in the middle and spent only on a
quality 5/8 could win against anyone. Waiting for Campese is a pipe dream and imo when he is on the
paddock he's too erratic

Where are we . . . not half way through the season and it looks like Melbourne will undoubtedly
be the best team of the year yet again. Except for a plane crash they will probably be the team of the
second decade as well. The only definite influence on this happening is what will Bellamy do and who will replace him.

Take away the Storm and their points difference and the League table looks as though Gallop thought
it up in a wet dream. Raudonikis summed it up perfectly when he said he didn't care what the rules say,
some things are just wrong. Thank f**k the lollypoppers have the gf to fall back on, anything could happen
to disguise the facts in that shitfight.

Until they take points from a team for finding, developing or rediscovering talent we'll just have to continue arguing
who will run second each year. Either the Sharks or Rabbitohs will do me but the Broncos and Manly will fight it out imo.
I could picture the Cowboys coming to the fore but they need to stay healthier than any other team because it's in their nature to suffer.

Wouldn't have a f**king clue what the Warriors are going to do and you'd need a lousy dart player to point us
in the right direction there. The Dragons are on the right track if they just keep their cool and look past their noses,
bring 'em up instead of buy 'em in. Speaking of buying the Dogs don't interest me in the slightest and it will be
interesting to see how long Manly can put off reverting to the dark side.

Tigers, Knights, Roosters and Panthers are all in the same leaky boat without a captain in sight. Not sure if they
will be rescued, go crazy, eat themselves or just plain sink out of sight. Miracles do happen but they are man made.

Now we have Titans, Eels and Raiders. These are the teams that I would love to see borrow a set of springs from
Tigger and bounce back to put a smile on all the children's faces. How good would that be.

Well, I've cast a pretty big net, now to sit back and see what it catches

Don't know how many of you have been to a compulsory union meeting. If you haven't a look at the
Newcastle dressing room at half time will give you an idea. Willie Mason can sleep at night in the
knowledge that no-one's playing better than him and imo Buderus should have came back to the
knights in administration.

Scott Prince should be considering life after football sooner rather than later and it makes you wonder
about teams who get affected by Origin when the Titans don't get a mention. Harrison was one of the
most valuable players for Q and Bird for NSW . . . and Miles was MOM. The player that interested me
the most tonight was Idris. Funny what catches your eye when one team would rather be at bingo.

This is what I would offer Sandow; 20 grand a win, 5 grand a loss and 500 bucks a completed tackle.
If he didn't like those terms sell him to Goodooga where he would fit in. As far as footy brains go you
can't get blood from a stone so the Eels tried to emulate Penrith's game plan of 'rip, shit or bust' and
it almost worked.

Without the best winger in the game the Dragons would have been made a fool of and a couple of Eels
playing in the NSW Cup should have been left there. The only time Sandow ran to the line was to leave
a gap after a missed tackle. He treats the ball like it's got a fuse and his team mates like they're disposable

Found some real words of wisdom from Stuart in the rags this morning;

He claims he's a coach by quoting Fulton who is even less qualified than him and Benny who is hanging
off a cliff by a straw. Other than the fact that Fulton can't die his main claim to fame is kicking 2 point
field goals and playing for a team that bought results. Fulton never once coached a team that wasn't
jam packed with stars and even then he struggled . . . similar to Stuart on reflection. All I can say
about Benny is I'm concerned.

Ricky's worried about the style of play the referees are going to allow. He should have done more
research, it's called the Origin Style. Similar to what the Pommie ref did in the Test. You know, keep
out of the way, let the players make the mistakes, don't be pedantic and keep control. To cap it off
Stuart says the Blues were the best team on Wed night . . . imagining his players are childlike enough
to believe that is irrational.

If any of the coaches that interest me carried on like Stuart there would be one less

Back to the press. My missus used to serve Luke Lewis his playlunch at Primary and they loved each other.
She won't hear a bad word against him and I'm not about to offer up any. Everything he achieved he earned
the hard way and became an Origin player even though prone to injury. He however is a far better inspirational
player than he is a tactician and I agree Kingston would make a better captain.

Didn't think it would take Meninga this long to try and counteract the squealing. I can't wait to get Origin over
and done with if both these front men disguised as coaches are going to treat us like we came down in the last shower.

If Wade Graham had gone back to a team that dumped him when he was naive enough to chew gum while playing
I would have been disappointed. Jabba Gould trying to retaliate for an opposition team getting the best from a player
will only attract others to Flanagan. Jabba should concentrate on building an aura as a way of keeping players interested
. . . seems that's the new fad.

Hayne still impersonating Eeyore . . . oh me oh my!. Better to take heart from the Eels performance against the Dragons.
Once Parramatta find a way out of Sandow's contract and dig up a Adam Reynolds of their own from the huge bank of juniors
available to them the tide will turn.

The Seagles played like they thought it only a matter of time before Penrith capitulated and even
though a favourite of the referees they were misguided. Matai up to his usual worst, let's see if the
judiciary can find an excuse for him this time.

The Panthers stand too flat in the opposition 20 and end up looking like chooks scratching around
when trying to find a way through . . . infuriating to say the least. All the players are on the same
level now and they don't need a prima donna like Jennings.

We awake this morning to find that overnight Matai has become 'tough' according to Dean Ritchie.
He'd enjoy watching second generation boat people in action in that case. The bloke's a gutless
wonder who gets run over one on one against anyone who sees him coming and then feins injury
so we'll believe it wouldn't have normally happened.

Said previously I respect Luke Lewis but he wants to play what's in front of him and Cleary is not
in the position to cater to any player that has to be bottle fed. If Luke wants to spit his dummy instead
of taking the game by the scruff of the neck he should join the Eels.

Kent's all lovey dovey over Farrar because he showed that he can put two good games together.
Must have creamed his jeans watching Boxhead play in the old days and Smith today. Maybe someone
should tell him #9's have to be bullet proof every game.

This'll do me. Greg Hartley telling somebody, anybody, how a game should be refereed. The twat says
Harrigan should listen to advice. This from a bloke who would have taken a mirror on the field if he could
have got away with it. His nickname should have been 'Dubious', not 'hollywood'.

Seems Hampstead is going to become the next Lady Diana. Hope the poor bugger can handle gutter press
. . . Ritchie would fit nicely in a pommie daily rag. He did nothing wrong on Wed night and everything right
yesterday imo as long as benefit of the doubt to the attacking team remains the rule. People who don't like
it should tune the piano, not blame the bloke playing it.

All the cries of 'how can they afford it' before the fact changing to caterwaulling after the affect has just about
filled my blue and red cup to the brim. If I hear no more about the Knights this year that'll do me.

Talk about Josh Reynolds in Origin is something I advocated weeks ago. Not so much the player but his DNA.
Don't get me wrong, he definitely could handle the job. It wouldn't worry him that he's not pretty enough,
classy enough or fashionable enough which is why the Boo Hoos won't pick him. They should at least get him
to donate blood in a mass transfusion.

Inu proved his point tonight but will he find it necessary to surprise us with a few good games back to back.
Dogs almost fell into the trap of chasing ghosts until Des got to them at half time. All too easy getting mixed
up in ad-lib mayhem.

Speaking of Brian Smith's standard game plan, the usual throw the ball anywhere is great if the scoreboard
ticks over but it uses a lot of energy running around in circles for no reward. Mortimer might make a #9 if he
learns to tackle one on one and takes on the line at least once a set.

Kasiano is a standout for the Dogs. Plays good minutes and as strong as a bikie gang with a good offload.
Des only has to get these blokes playing a disciplined 80 and the sky's the limit
