My natural instinct was to abuse you.......can't help it . ;-)

But you are 100% right.

Turncoats....traitors ......pea hearted, fair weathered fans shit me to tears.

I wouldn't/won't ever accept a NSW sook or QLD'r for that matter, who has had a gutfull of losing or hates the coach....the side...the selectors....whatever, that much that he changes his state alligiances.

I have no respect for someone like that.

There's a few (isolated cases) of QLD'rs around here who self hate and bag out our great state, purely IMO, to try and gain "popularity" amongst the droves of NSW gronks who infest this site.

They sit below NSW fans for mine in the low scumbag books.

Oh dear, not a Labor supporter are we? One of those who confuses Labor with labour. Makes you wonder
how you feel about a Tasmanian, Victorian, West or South Australian who wants to follow an Origin team.

You precious bedwetters amuse me. I'm f**king Australian through and through and I'll punch on with any
prick who tells me which part of the country, town or area I have to follow in a sport. Born in Blacktown I'm
stuffed if I'm going to support the Eels or Panthers until they get off their arses and employ a decent coach.

Because NSW prefer to appease imbeciles I'm f**ked if I'll align myself with imbeciles just to make up the
numbers. I'm not the least interested in winning or losing just about doing your best. Anyone who likes the
way NSW approaches the selecting of teams can go jump for mine, no matter what part of the country they come from

That's entirely different. They belong to neither side playing. Their choice of alliance to me, is irrelevant.

Your rather infamous for your elderly age status. As a boy / teenager are you telling me you didn't follow your "home" team....from the western suburbs?

Western Suburbs......Tommy R .......Dallas Donnelly .........Roy Masters

The 80's ......the Eels ....Jack Gibson

.......great teams......great players ....great coaches

You never supported them?

Why?

Again.....when you were younger or even more recently in the 90's, the glory days of NSW

you weren't an ardent NSW supporter .....?

Why?

I once had a Leyland P76 and despite all the rough edges it went real hard and outhandled any Holden or Falcon of it's day.
Matter of fact it took Ford 7 years later to introduce the same suspension and steering. Only 2 years in production it wasn't
allowed enough time to iron out the bugs. I kept it until it finally fell to pieces and gave up on it only when enough was enough.

NSW were giving me the shits in the same way. Instead of methodically ironing out the bugs they went with politically correct
selections while ignoring what Q were doing. Not a matter of me not liking the players cycled in and out willy nilly but the fact
they were losing ground through stubborness.

Any way, it matters not that I became disenfranchised with NSW but more to the point I am free to do so. I don't call people
who believe in god scumbags nor anyone on these forums such names merely because they don't follow a sport the way I do.
Anyone wanting to call me a scumbag to my face over such a trivial matter best not have a low pain threshold

It's not official because I just picked a description that denotes someone of behaving in a manner that is not conducent to normal behaviour . . . maybe not litterally correct but affective.

Anyone who can't offer an opinion without being abusive, derogatory or belittling to anyone with a differing opinion is my version of a 'redneck'. A forum should be considered a place of sharing and comparing. Anonimity is no excuse for the lack of being able to speak face to face,

What a dumb f**king response . . . you have no concept at all of what my post was about

You sir, are a 'redneck'.

Thinly veiled physical threats aside........it appears at least to me, from the outside looking in

you're a fair weathered fan.

This seems to be at odds with your portrayed staunch demeanour........

just sayin'

You sir, are a 'redneck'.

Not a redneck but someone who has come to the end of his tether trying to explain the obvious nicely.
I didn't seek to abuse you as an initial response which is the trademark of a redneck but you're continuation
of running off subject is f**king annoying.

Now you have woken up the real rednecks but you can bet your bottom dollar they won't have the guts to go on with it one on one.

You are still displaying a reasonable demeanor so are in need of a reasonable response. NSW has won many times since I
began following the ways of Q. Never changed my opinion that NSW heirarchy were doing an injustice to NSW fans which
is at odds with your fairweather assessment.

I've long had a theory that if a player is paid substantially more than his compatriots he not only has to earn the
difference but more than the difference, consistently. May be coincidental with Jennings not being welcome any
longer but the last two outings by Penrith have shown a remarkably dogged attitude. The players seem to have
accepted that value is now contingent on performance.

A great game of footy with a draw a reasonable outcome imo. The Cowboys have a bright future with up and coming
players being introduced Melbourne style. When Thompson started playing 5/8 it looked as though finally JT could
give up being the Lone Ranger but that was a bit of a fizzer imo. Then someone came up with the analogy that since
JT was to be the representative 5/8 why not have him there in every team. Now we have possibly the best 5/8 playing
alongside Thompson who is proving much better at #7.

Ashley Graham, another BS reject is going great guns and Kane Linnett looking very formidable. Taumalolo will have
to replace the broken Sims brother and looks a handful. NQ are sailing along nicely

How have I gone off the subject?
How do you propose the league fix this major problem you feel the VR has created?
Should we go back and review every game in history and change any results effected by incorrect calls?
Or scrap it altogether?
As I said all players and officials know that the VR is part of the game and the way the game is played has changed accordingly.
How is that a 'dumb f-cking response'?
I thought you'd enjoy the the feedback to your observation, but I guess the RR thread is Pops way or the highway.

Oops, nearly didn't see you little man so you're first order of the day. Appears you're still not confident up
front on a tandem . . . content to sit on the back pedalling while being led around. Suppose it gives you
time to delve into the comic books. Lucky in your search for 'clap' there were no images of a venereal
disease or it could have been embarrassing for you

Next it is appropriate for me to offer 'no name' a sincere public apology and by so doing differentiating
myself from rednecks. I was guilty of belittlement without cause being instigated. Two apologies in
fact . . . one a certainty and the other on proviso.

I could suggest that he/she had holstered a quote from me in preparation for a time when I would be
caught offguard enough to be entrapped intentionally into committing a misdemeanor which I preach
against. In dismissing that suggestion on the grounds I don't think no name capable of such deception
I again could be accused of belittlement . . . hence the proviso apology.

Seems you are genuine in your attempt to discuss and I hope you accept my apology. My only defence is that I'm somewhat too quick to judge.

Without sending you back to study what my original post was about it is better if I clarify it. You remember when I said League MkI was nearer
to Union than the current version hence no records of achievement in that era have any relation to current teams.

Then I said League MkII, for want of a description, was similar to the game of today except for the fact that records before 1996 would have
to be shelved and again ignore anyone using those records of achievement to support an argument that a particular team could transfer them to a different game of today.

To put it bluntly the Manly teams of '48 - '66 did little worth recording. The St. George teams '67 - '96 not much better. If the video ref had of been in affect
from '67 to now the Dragons could have won a half dozen premierships . . . who knows.

They are the only three significant distinctions in a game that has survived to the present in name only and I'm not calling for archival records to be disregarded but to not be taken out of context

I don't know about being led around on the grassy knoll while I lay down my yabbie traps so I can catch some rednecks POPEYE. The simple fact of the matter is my work is done here. Almost nobody on LU takes you seriously and prefers to ignore your senile, Craig Bellamy-inspired rantings.

I'm also happily just lurking around while you successfully manage to ostracise your few remaining supporters on this forum. Hence the "bravo" to No Name. The fact is I know I'm what you consider a "redneck". I think the term troll applies to.me as well. But you're the one that is purporting to be a leading authority on NRL coaching when in truth all you are is a liar, hypocrite, gibberer, turncoat and most especially "redneck".

As for "back pedalling" wtf was that last post to No Name hmmm? Trying desperately to hang on to one of your few friends on this forum while the rest of us know how irrelevant you have become? Hang on I should correct myself there. You were.never relevant to begin with.

My time in this waste of space is done. You won't hear from me again you lonely old fart.

I get what you're saying, I just don't agree.
I feel the game has evolved accordingly with the times. Things like the VR and two referees were introduced to, in theory, help come up with the right decision more often.
Pre VR, just like today, the referees decision was final and results were recorded as such. It is irrelevant if their decisions are right or wrong.
