you are all going on about how bad the game of rugby league is.... That is utter bullsh*t... The only reason the game of rugby league hasnt made you wet for several years is because of the Sharks playing style. No excitment, cant score points and lying all over the play the ball area. 2 refs this year and you cant do the normal slow down the play the ball and Sharks are suffering big time!

... and I do not want the Sharks to relocate either!! The Local Derby isnt the same if you are 3000km away!!!!

Doug - how old are you.?

Had a long time following the great game have you.

The modern game is absolute crap...

Did you enjoy the little stoush between Maddog and Wendall.?

Everyone else did, but hey that used to happen every game every week not that long ago. The game was free range entertaining. Had characters, had blues, had unabridged body contact.

Arrrrrrhhhhhhh I could go on and on.

But back to the first question.

Cheers

The Sharks need Simmons to pick a blue with one player from every other team. Surely they'd pack the ground out in anticipation of what will be done to humiliate Poor David each week.

On a serious note, the cost is a major issue right now.
$10 for parking. $20 for a GA ticket.
It all adds up.
Do they run free buses around the Shire? Include it in the cost of a ticket maybe?

Perhaps have a few big name bands lined up for gigs at Sharkies on Sat nights. Have them play a few songs at the game, to encourage people to hang around after the game for the gig. Maybe discounted tickets if you have a footy ticket?

Try to get the NSW Cup to play before Toyota Cup on game days. One club, 3 games on the one day. It's great.

I love the idea of the markets on game day. Make it a day out. Use the carpark on the Western side of the ground. Jumping castles and rides for the kiddies... all leading up to kick off!!

GREAT!

yes mate - we all went for a feed on saturday night - place was packed

tony still on fire (not literally) and friendly as always, i use to love the old joint - cold beer, fried rice, chop sticks, salt & pepper prawns and a pair of scissors

food was really good, restautrant decor looks fresh with a light but not over powering feel like some traditional chinese joints

we will go back - as we booked a table for after the next home game

wouldnt have thought there was a need to book the way the team is going... only be 4000 at that game.

That performance tonight, next match home crowds will be smaller then before.

We are set to be Buffalo Bills of NRL, will we move before they do, both clubs made there respectful grand finals in the past only to lose, and now both clubs are set to relocate Buffalo will be to Tornoto and that will be within next 5 years soon as owner dies, sharks will that will be within 5 years destination unknown

Ok number one the bills will never relocate and the nfl has no place in putting a team in canada.
On the sharks unless the crowds improve the board will have no choice but to consider atleast playing some home games elsewhere which is a good source of revenue not sure about long term viability in the shire, How are the plans on developing the land coming along and what chance is there of it going ahead?

Of course crowds will improve......FFS what club in the history of the game that has lost 6 in a row, is running last, and playing at night consistently pulled 15-20,000 through the gate.

Just look at Canterbury last year for starters.

I know that. Look everyone has dog days and i wouldn't expect us to be pulling 15k on the back of six straight losses but last year we finished in the top 4 and still couldn't pull 15k
