Good luck to the Eels, I hope he can turn it around.

I am just happy that I don't have to support him as the Coach of NSW anymore. Bliss.

No it didnt. Sandow has won us games this year.

Against who? Penrith? More Hayne & Hindmarsh if anything.

Robson starred in a 40-6 romp of Cronulla last year.

From my count, it's 1-0 Robson.

And he was on a small fraction of Sandow's price, in a worse side.

Which has got to do with what about Ricky Stuart?

Robsons win for Cronulla was not for Parra.

Seriously, how the f*ck would it be worse? I am flabbergasted at the amount of people who think like you -that Kearney is a better coach than Stuart! Kearney is like Meninga - needs a thousand other coaches to hold his hand in rep games.

I knew Eels fans had short memories, but I didn't believe it was that short! I was referring to the Eels win against the Sharks last year. You invited the comparison.

And I already explained it to you. This thread reminds me of how the Eels fans behaved when they signed Sandow.

Kearney had to go, but I don't believe Stuart is as good as what Parra fans make him out to be.

He will fit in there perfectly with all the other overated hacks like Flopmarsh and Hayne.

Indeed. There are bigger problems than coaches.

However, I don't believe Stuart's strengths are necessarily areas that Parra need help in. Scoring points is where they've primarily struggled since 2010 & Stuart's strengths rely in defensive structures. It remains to be seen whether he can motivate a side that is young and who's talent is yet to be truly realised.

Sticky... Not only is it Ricky Stuart's nickname, it's how Loudstrat ended up two minutes after Stuart signed with the Eels.

Parra signed Sandow and Loudy blew his wad last year.

A few years back they signed Kearney and Loudy blew his wad over that as well. Everytime Parra get the cheque book out Loudstrat breaks out the vaso and some tissues and then craps on for months over how this will be the crucial signing that will return Parra to the halcyon days. So far, all have ended in tears and this one will be no different. Only change will be that most of the tears will belong to Ricky as he's such a whiney little bitch.

I dont remember Robson doing anything to win a game on his own. A 40 point win is a team effort unless someone scores 7 individual tries

Yes, me to. We had a mixed reaction then too.
Kearney had to go, but I don't believe Stuart is as good as what Parra fans make him out to be.
You dont follow too well do you old chum. This thread has been dominated by people bagging us for dumping Kearney and signing Stuart. Like you. Are you one of the morons that reckon Stuart never won an Origin series too?

Yet his performance was better than anything Sandow has dished up.

Yes, most of your fans thought it was a great signing, the rest of us bagged your club for it.

Yes, opposition fans. Most Parra fans are celebrating like they won a premiership. Like you.

In the post you quoted, I said Kearney had to go. I don't think Stuart's a good fit for Parra and I've already given my reasons.

And no, next time, you should keep your silly questions to yourself.

Robson is far better this year than he was last year. Sandow was far better last year than he is this year. The common denominator in both players worse seasons? The coach you reckon we should never have punted. FFS it aint hard to fathom, even for you.

Yes, most of your fans thought it was a great signing, the rest of us bagged your club for it.
The rest of "us"? What "Us" are you referring to - members of your asylum? Like most things you claim are fact, you are forgetting something. In this case, the anger and grief that Souths fans and board reacted with when we signed him.

No one - not even self confessed geniuses like you - said we should have kept Robson instead.
Yes, opposition fans. Most Parra fans are celebrating like they won a premiership. Like you.
Yeah? Is Parra Stadium burning?

You must need an adults help to realise what most lucid people understand automatically - Parra fans are merely counteracting what the Sticky haters are crapping on with. Like you with the Sandow issue, they are telling only half the story of Sticky - the bleak half. We are filling in the gaps with the missing positive stuff. People like you forget that he coached Easts to their first premiership in 27 years, their first triple GF appearance in 64 years, and Cronulla's first equal first minor premiership in 9 years.

Taking the whole story is that Stuart is not up there with Hasler, Flanagan (ironically a Parra product) et-al. He's a sh*t load better than Kearney and Anderson, and also Furner, Elliot, and Smith. Gimps like you are crapping on like he'd make the likes of Langmack look like Jack Gibson.
In the post you quoted, I said Kearney had to go. I don't think Stuart's a good fit for Parra and I've already given my reasons.
And no solutions? By bagging the club for signing Stuart, you are in fact bagging them for punting Kearney. You havent mentioned an alternative, and you havent said that Stuart is better than Kearney (ffs Bunniesman would be better than Kearney). So by bagging the club, you are saying that we would be better with Kearney.

And no, next time, you should keep your silly questions to yourself.
You can keep your stupid f*cking answers to yourself if you aint up to it sunshine.

You're pitching little Chris Crocker 'Leave Sticky Alone' fits over a coach who hasn't done one iota for your club. How pathetic.

Being critical of the Eels giving Sticky the vacant coaching job doesn't make anyone pro-Kearney. That's silly logic. Kearney was gone regardless of Sticky's signing. Stuart had his success' of coach, but they were in areas that I don't believe suit Parra, and for all those success' came terrible failures. Such a career wouldn't help a club as bipolar as Parra.

You can continue to argue the toss all you want, as it stands, you've signed a coach who's been unceremoniously dumped from two clubs.

So we cant defend the new coach we have signed? What did Sticky do? Bang your missus?

What is pathetic is you bagging us for signing Sticky based on you ignoring any positives about him. I'm wondering what you think we should have done then. Sign no one?

We've also signed a coach who has had had as much success at those two clubs than anyone. No one is denying his bad bits, but you are denying his good bits.

Anyway, good trolling for as bloke who hates trolls

You don't know what trolling is. Having a negative opinion of a topic isn't trolling, I didn't ask for you to throw a bitch fit and defend a coach who's yet to do one single thing for your club. Yet you did.

I'm not ignoring his positives, I've acknowledged them & I don't think they'll necessarily suit Parra in the long term.

I would have preferred to have seen Parra target an assistant coach from another club than a two time failure such as Stuart. Somebody like a Rick Stone who despite a lot of meddling and distraction took the Knights to the finals & got the best out of what was really an ordinary side. Experience wise, Steve Folks is still playing assistant and I reckon could do a job for most clubs. Biggest crime was out-lasting his welcome at the Dogs, since then he's gone onto help the Tigers tremendously. They went from having one of the worst forward packs to the best. Heck, even Jim Dymock impressed with his brief care-taker stint at the Dogs. Obviously somebody with some experience of Parra, Dymock specialised in attacking football and really experimented with a side that was struggling in attack and got them firing to end the season on a high. Spending some time with Des wouldn't hurt him either.

Andrew Patmore, Kristian Woolf, Trent Robinson, Michael Potter...all these coaches I would have been fine with.

It's always difficult to gauge how rookie NRL coaches will perform in the NRL but I'd much rather go in that direction than go with a coach who ended up being worse for the club long term than positive.

But that's all just wishful thinking, Stuart is coach and there isn't any indication on how he'll perform until 2013.

So until then, instead of making false accusations and throwing bitch fits at anyone who dares to question a coach with a chequered coaching career how about you adopt a modest 'wait and see' approach. I'm sure you'll get your wish and everyone will 'leave Sticky alone!' until he lets his performances speak for themselves.
