Not a single bay has been sold for Eng v lebanese. It will not get above 15,000 or get close.

England v Lebanon should be able to pull 20k if the Lebanese community in Sydney comes out in force.

The Poms in Coggee and Sydney should be able to muster up 10k and 10k from lakemba puchbowl bankstown areas plus neutrals.

I will go out on a limb an say 20k for England v Lebanon.

Weather permitting I'm with you on that number!

Just had a look at ticket prices for Townsville double header next week and most tickets cost $10.

25 for catB. 45 catA.
No excuses for not showing up now.

I hope so. I think that win against France might get more people.

There seemed to be quite of lot of people in Canberra, so imagine how many people will turn up this Saturday.

How hard would it have been to engage Raiders and Cowboys in promoting to their 15,000 odd members each.
And the Sydney teams for the coming weeks, etc.
Tell the fans there are World Cup matches being played at OUR home, offer discounts to members who have already renewed.

I know we aren't giving them much notice any more, but going off Ticketek, sales for Samoa v Tonga in Hamilton are good.

Every bay is on sale, and whilst undoubtedly some are being held back, the grandstand behind the goalposts has sold out.

I'll go with a safe prediction. All the Australia games to disappoint crowd wise with the other matches performing ok to really good. PNG will go close to if not sell out again. We'll see a strong crowd for tonga v somoa (15K+) and a decent crowd for NZ. Every match being played in Australia is likely to disappoint.

I'd like to think Canberra would come out in force for the Australia game but I've lost all confidence.

Does anyone know if we can engage the NRL to ask them if they’ve done a deal with Home members of the stadiums?

The Warriors sent out emails to their members about the Samoa vs Kiwis game.

I bought my tickets for the Townsville game by ringing Cowboys Leagues club because I wanted to catch a bus to the game from the leagues club..

They knew all about the World Cup and provided buses to and from the club

I saw very little promoting of the WC in Central Auckland though klf. Just a few banners around Quay St and a few near the airport. Wasn't the idea behind getting states and councils (?) to bid for the games was that then meant it was in their own interests to promote the games they were hosting?
