On field, why wasn't the play slowed down, a solid set and kick for touch on the last, it's not Rocket science.
Off field, what the hell did BA say to them at half time, and what did he alter to try and stop the N.Qld momentum?
Why have fresh players on the Bench, when you have exhausted players out on the field?

We've not been able to consistently slow the play the ball down for over a decade. What gave you the impression we were suddenly about to start to do it against one of the best teams at playing the ball quickly?

My comments are not racist. You guys just can't handle someone who is pointing out that culture does have a lot to do with attitude. It has nothing to do with race.

They are gifted in many many ways and can do things that most others can only dream about.

I am talking about (for the 100th time) attitude. They love to chill.

In time this will change, but for now it is a problem for the professional NRL player.

As for being current world champions? That will not last as they don't have the consistency(as yet).

If you want to see a consistent international team, look at their All Blacks team.

It's not just racist redneck conspiracy theorists like ram. I'm a ludicrously passionate Eels fan and I'm sick to death of deathriding, negativity, and nothing but tearing the side down. Last night is the worst I've felt as an Eels fan but some of the shit I've seen around the place from fellow "fans" makes me feel sick. People stay strong and try to stay positive and support their side and get abused and ridiculed for it. It's pathetic IMO and just personally I've had enough. The mentality that anyone who criticises obvious and repeated mistakes in the direction of a perennially unsuccessful and underachieving football club can't be a real fan.

How is anything ever going to change if the fans just continually accept this shit?

Our centres and wingers are appalling, with one exception.

Our halves are looking exciting - but what use will they be with wood ducks surrounding them?

Our salary cap is so f**ked we are basically playing with players the coach has no faith in and we don't use.

We have a football operation which is full of political appointments - people who are past it; in a role that doesn't suit their skills; and in other cases who simply aren't qualified to do the job

The club is a basket case and if you call it out in any way you get told you aren't a real supporter by people who are consistently wrong on their predictions and analysis.

Its a forum for exchange of opinions.

If you don't like some of them, even though they obviously accord with what is happening on the field in front of our eyes every week, then don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.

The first half underlines what the side can be with a strong gme from the 6&7, actually from the 6 tonight

The team is actually only a fullback, 7 , and a strike winger/ centre away from challenging the 8 or better

I love Sandow but really he is a liability when you have to play defence and control a game and not just attack, sad to say it but he needs to go. Morgan was pretty awful tonight, didn't see him help much when they attacked his side with kicks. To see what the side can produce in both halves made me come home very flat, not upset , just flat and disappointed at what should have been

Don't feel like there is much to look forward to this year other than turn up and watch, have a sense that next year will be decent

By the way, not at all comfortable with what DA is controlling, not going to say much because not too many want to believe it. He is not a positive for the club in his role and what he controls

You have to question the Stats in a game when Morgan only ran 12 metres, when I and everyone else watching the game seen him run 30 metres in one run and then lose the ball.

I may be wrong but i don't think the run counts because he dropped the ball

Collectively all of them. That's the problem. All it takes is a small and sudden switch off. It becomes contagious. Then it becomes fear, like dear in the headlights kind of stuff. Once it takes over, it is near impossible to turn it around.

I can see where you are coming from Baz but after the last 5 years of shit dished up I can't blame people blowing up deluxe and going off the deep end. Every time we seem to turn a corner we find another dead end. I'm not sure if it's because I'm up in Brisbane and am copping it absolute deluxe from one and all but I am fed up with the losing and the fact that no one seems to be able to dig us out of this mess.

It's not unreasonable to expect results but we are looking down the barrel of another year of watching the finals in Septembet and wondering what if. It doesn't make me any less of a fan as far as I'm concerned.

2. Cowboys - James Tamou and Jason Taumalolo, garbage who would want them.

3. Storm - Jesse Bromwich, Marika Koroibete, Tohu Harris, don't need them.

4. Dragons - Tyson Frizell, Benji Marshall, awful players

5. Rabbitohs - Isaac Luke, Dylan Walker, they'll never win a comp with terrible players like that in their team.

6. Roosters - Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Shaun Kenny-Dowell, Jared-Waerea-Hargreaves, Michael Jennings, Sam Moa, Isaac Liu, Sio Sia Taukeiaho - what a bunch of losers.
