Panthers coach Anthony Griffin has named his side to face Cronulla Sharks at Panthers Stadium on Friday.

Griffin is able to name an extended 22-man squad on account of the club's representation in Origin III.

SECURE YOUR SEATS NOW

With Dallin Watene-Zelezniak sidelined with a hamstring injury, fullback Caleb Aekins has been named to make his NRL debut as Panther No.580.

The 20-year-old Kiwi has been a standout performer in the Panthers ISP side this season and recently re-signed with the club until the end of 2020.

Aekins will be the club's sixth NRL debutant in 2018 and will make his debut in the youngest and most inexperienced side to take the field in the NRL competition this year.

The Panthers will wear the 2018 Home Jersey.

OldPanther, I was wondering how you can make tickets available for others (without actually lending them your member's pass)?

I am also doubtful of being able to make this Friday's game unfortunately, and am wondering if it is possible to loan my member's pass / tickets (in Bay 27 of the Western Grandstand) to someone without having to go to the hassle of physically giving them the membership passes?

I emailed the club and they emailed me an online ezy ticket for single use at the specific game.

Those young forwards led by Yeo is a dynasty in it's own going forward.
How we keep them together will be a massive issue.

We have had 3 successive 'mind games' coaches. Elliot was one, Cleary frequently engaged in it and now Griffin.
I'd suggest he's just waiting to see how his players scrub up after tomorrow night before making final decisions, completely understandable in my opinion.

No Jimmy is way past the age of being able to back up. Jimmy can win us a comp this year in a very weak season but no he cant back up. The game he did was disgraceful

Aekins it is unless its a smoke screen.

Doubt it if it is a smokescreen for Whare at fullback because smokescreens are generally hiding something you don't want your opposition to know
The season is weak and wide open. I'm only 40% Storm will win the comp, opposed to the normal 90%

It is weak in the sense that there isn't one team that is miles above the rest (e.g. Storm of 2016) but at the same time, it isn't a soft season because there's 6 or so teams that are all around on par with each other and so getting through the finals will be very tough as they are no pushovers (even the Warriors).
