How would the Sharks go without:

1. Holmes (Edwards)
2. Katoa (Mansour)
3. Ramien (Peachey)
4/5. Dugan (DWZ)
6. Moylan (Maloney)
7. Townsend (Cleary)
8. Fifita (RCG)
9. Brailey (Wallace)
14. Woods (Mckendry)
15. Capewell (Browne)

What sort of team would they firld and how competitive would it be? 3 players out compared to 10 is not even in the same ballpark. Its a mostly NRL team against a mostly reserve grade team.

Panthers had 4 season ending and/or career ending injuries between Dylan Edwards, Peter Wallace, Sam Mckendry and Tim Browne. What we wouldnt give to be missing 3 players right now. Shit we had 7 out already and then rested 3 from Origin. Yet you're acting like 3 is some sort of huge hit. Its not even a blip on the radar unless they're all spine players.

Also:

Matt Moylan: 104 games
Chad Townsend: 129 games
Jayden Brailey: 36 games
Valentine Holmes: 95 games

Total = 364 games

Vs

Jerome Luai: 3 games
Tyrone May: 11 games
Sione Katoa: 25 games
Wade Egan: 9 games
Caleb Aekins: Debut

Total = 48 games

Yeah u are.

I think the Panthers Are a massive chance to win the comp. But to use the fact that so and so were out and the sharks were at full strength Is such crap. The sharks are clearly not full strength at moment and to say they are is a just an excuse certain MUPPETS on here are using to justify a loss.

I don't think you understand nor comprehend the word 'Justify'. No one of this forum is 'justifying' the loss, rather we are stating cold hard facts.

If Cronulla were a serious shield threat they should have put 40 on this basically ISP team.

So take you're pissy little win and go run back to the shire, where peptides and poor behaviour are the norm.

PS Take that dropkick Fifita with you too please.

Thanks.

Any one who supports a coward, whose name is Kieran Loveridge is a imbecile.

No I don't get it. Ur using inexperience as an excuse which is a cop out. Add those players you mention, the sharks still would have beat u. As they did in RD 7 and both times last year and in 2016 during the origin period without our origin players. Point to my story is the Panthers are our little bitch. Oh and Thanx for Moylan and Graham and lewis and segeyaro.......mic drop.
Nice to see a Cronulla supporter show a little class and humility in victory and not act like a peptide pushing redbeck bogan....
Ohhh wait I got that wrong didn’t I.

It’s also interesting that the 2 Cronulla supporters that have decided to join us this week to share their views both use terminology designed to demean and objectify women.
Little bitches with salty vagina’s.

Fly your flag proudly Cronulla, I’m suprised you haven’t dropped a bit of racism in yet to round out your awesome shire viewpoint.

You muppet, my point is that your team should have beaten the panther by more. Your team is much, much, more experienced. You can add Nathan Cleary, James Maloney, Tyrone Peachey, Peter Wallace and Sam McKendry to the list. Get it now?
And the raw facts are that we made more line breaks, more metres, more post contact mtrs with an very inexperienced team.

Cronulla won but not by enough in my opinion.

I have said this before, and I will say this again, I would love to see Shane Flanangan coach a side with an inexperienced rooster, and with the players averages 23, or under. He couldn't do it. He is a fraud.

i like others like to look at all aspects of a win or loss. The reality is with so many out we can just sit back and say well done boys.It was always going to be tough.I believe this loss win give us a huge boost come the back end of the year when many of the injured have returned

The more clubs like Cronulla, and the NRL in general, depend on development clubs like ours to fill their teams without doing the hard work themselves, the more secure our position in the food chain. This is why our club goes to the trouble. You rub the Panthers out or move them to Tearabagapart, there is an immediate void in player supply that would not easily be filled. Whereas you do it to the Sharks, there wouldn't even be a ripple. This is why Gus is happy for our developed juniors to go elsewhere and make a name for themselves. It makes the Panthers indispensible.

I didn't think of it like that, and that makes sense. Thanks.

As much as I wanted a win. Being realistic it was never likely.

But we pretty much out enthused them. We looked dangerous and entertaining and outside of a few players even the guys who made mistakes were so good that they madeup for them.

When James Tamou has two linebreaks you're playing some decent footy. Our whole starting pack were outstanding. None moreso than Kikau who has been unbelievable considering his season looked over against Manly.

You have to give the Sharks credit they defended very well. I thought we threw a lot at them and with a little good luck and great defence they were able to withstand us.

I was shattered by the loss but not by the effort.

We put a good score on a lot of other teams with that effort. Sharks really showed up.

Those 2 are better ATM then Ellis, Hetherington and maybe Leota.

Crichton isn't a FG yet anyway. We have done well despite the back 3 and ordinary bench
