Hopefully we are in cruise control until finals and pull out a few performances like against dragons... issac luke carved us up with laziness getting square at marker and our inability to lock up the ball despite having numbers in tackles cost us. Our attack.... who knows. Looks a bit sharper when Cleary plays a bit deeper than on advantage line. Forwards need to do their job when it matters and not once game gone

We've played 1 good game in our last 10, against a Warriors side that didn't show up. It's gone, gone a long time ago, you're only hurting yourself now.

I think it’s convenient for people to blame hook for all our woes but as I see it, the issues run far deeper. Our season was derailed the moment Gus undermined the head coach.

If he thinks he knows better, lead the team. He won’t because hook was right, he coached 20 years ago and his experience with the clipboard in the modern game is limited to his time sitting in a commentary box.

We are a mere shadow of the team which was winning games earlier in the year and with exception to the origin period, we won games with injuries, against the run and put in 100%.

Now we look a misguided rabble.

Lol, Hook left alone = Brisbane.
Umm surely passing off the ground is a skill someone can learn?
If Egan can't do it well enough by now, and I really don't think he can or else he would, I don't think we can count on him learning it.

Oh yeah! I remember now. The time in Brisbane where he made the finals three out of four years, including a prelim.

Woeful record. I can see why we’d be upset with three finals appearances.
Hook was left alone to do his thing and the result was a thrashing in Brisbane.

He's a professional premiership window waster, if the goal is to limp into the finals then f**k yeah he'd be great. It's not. This season was over when we chose him over Moylan.

The Titans went the other way last year. Sacked the coach, kept the player. The player left anyway. You can't have players telling the coach what to do. It just doesn't work.

Gus said it so it must be true.

Where does limping start & finish? I wouldn’t call convincing wins week 1 & being competitive & losing week 2 limping. Probably less of a limp then losing 4 straight & going out.

You're referee score is accurate. Panthers first defencive set was great. Really upbeat and aggressive. 8 minutes straight defending against a fresh warriors team just killed us. Everyone was plain fatigued.

RCG should of been binned in that time. We brought it on ourselves

Not sure about the very first one but the two after that were fair pinches. Lots and lots of 50/50s though, the try just after halftime, the Peachey knock on when it went directly towards our dead ball line, the ball knocked out just after that which is usually called a loose carry, a couple of Warriors knock ons missed. It was a square up for the earlier game reffed by Cummins. The Townsville game was even worse and very predictable. I had to feel sorry for Parra even though they are the enemy. It is completely beyond me why the refs feel the need to do this. It can't possibly be doing the game any good.
