f**k you are a miserable bitch.

Any discussion you shoot down.

I have said he is is in the very good coach category but not a great yet

Before a ball was kicked we were favourites
We have had minimal disruption through injury

2020 wasn't even a total turn around considering we had played finals in 2016, 2017 and we even leading the comp mid way through 2018.

So while he has been good, I want to see it over a longer period or having to battle an injury crisis or something to push him to elite status
I don’t quite understand you want to promote a notion about healthy debate, but if someone has a different opinion to you to seem comfortable calling them out and basically putting shit on the views. Alice and I are hardly best buddies, but I can’t quite figure how harsh you and others seem to treat her on here given for the most part she only ever seems to offer her opinion. I don’t get it. It seems to me offering opinion is all fine as long as it conforms to the views of certain members of this forum.

I personally think only 3 sides can win it realistically. Only have Easts and Melbourne challenging us and it will take something very special from them
I so hope your right. As it stands we will have to beat the Storm to get into the GF play off game. Then obviously win against whomever again we come up against. I have to say the preferred option would have been week one against either the Cowboys or Sharks. The Storm are far more dangerous opponents In week one.

Sharkies are a smaller worry, will be a good team in the next few years. Cows too but I don't think they have anything for us in 2022

Unless something unforeseen happens we look likely to be playing the Storm in week one.

Home final, I would have been comfortable against the Cowboys/Sharks but the Storm at there best are on a different level.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter who we come up against we have to beat whomever we come up against.

Exactly and our BEST beats any other sides best

Cows have enough big game experienced to be a challenge. But them, Sharks and Broncos over the next few years will get really good

Interpretations I guess. Maybe you interpret her opinions in a different way I don’t know,

Personally, despite whatever differences of opinion we have had I’ve never taken her differences on a personal level. we haven’t always agreed over the years and differed greatly around the way Josh Mansour exited the club but Alice in her defence has always only ever expressed her opinion without ever rejecting the views of others.

You and disagree on a range of issues, we are certainly not busom buddies but I respect your passion, always have even if we don’t share the same viewpoints and disagree on certain subjects, not least around the legacy of Gus Gould.

Everyone on here is passionate, in one way or another, the fact we have differing views is probably more healthy than we recognise.

We have clashed many times and will continue to do so. The replies allow both of us to say our opinions though rather than just pot shots

Yes we have clashed with very different opinions. My opinion does not stop conversation or discussion. I think it often adds to the discussion, because it's a different viewpoint.

No one opinion is considered right, or for that matter wrong. They are just different.

As a side note. I was offended about being called a 'f**k a miserable bitch' I would like that type of abuse to stop.

Ivan could win another 4 or 5 premierships with this club. The claim would be made it was because of a stacked roster and luck.
If he can win another 4 comps for us I will get the LEGO out and build a statue out the front of the ground .The joy of leaping ahead of the eels would be worth the build

I thought so too about the Broncos, but the last few weeks have given me pause - I'm not sure Walters is the guy to get them there.

We can be rattled for short periods, but mostly we seem to find a way to grind back into it (unless our halfback decides to dump someone on their head for no reason). However, in the finals all it takes is one of Storm, Roosters, Souths, and even the Eels (they know how to beat us) to go crazy for a half, and I don't think we have the points in us to drag back very large leads. We should be favorites, but the finals will have much better teams in it this season than last. Hell, the friggin Knights, Titans (with a 10-14 record!), and the hollow one-trick pony Manly were there last season. None of the teams this year (except maybe the Broncos) will be as weak as them.

I think we are a chance of going back to back.

We are in the box seat finishing as minor premiers but I don’t feel in any way entitled around our chances.

I kind of feel , rather than be expected to win, there our other sides with much greater momentum.

Our chances of going back to back really are all about Nathan Cleary. He delivers his best and we can go back to back. If he doesn’t well I’m not sure we can win it. Dylan and Api are instrumental to our success but we need Nathan to do the business.

Cobbo has pulled out this week due to being tired
Capewell and Reynolds struggling with injury
Young guys often hit walls
They have retained players better than I expected, they have got Mam into the squad. So are trending the right way.

As for Walters, the jury is out but like the cross field kick in the 1st set last week. They do a few promising things

You believe that Cobbo excuse?

I understand where you are coming come.

We simply don’t have the points in us that other sides are capable of.

We rely on pressure, field position etc entirely different dynamic.

We need to get in the grind, hopefully get in front, and grind the opposition into submission.

It is what it is, which is why I think this current competition is wide open @nd there are realistically six sides capable of taking out the premiership.

The Liverpool analogy is interesting because Man Utd won 2-1 on monday morning despite only having 30% of possession across the 90 minutes.

I think we have enough points in us to beat the other top eight sides. I am sure we have some trick plays we have been practising to use at the right time
