According to Peter Lang......these players were in the captains run today. Soni Luke, Robert Jennings, Lindsay Smith. Whether this actually means anything I have no idea.

Are there some covid cases floating around. Again no idea.

Let the fun and games begin I suppose.

Would just be because they all went out to Bathurst. Soni has been cut from the teamlist today. Chris smith starting. Hopgood onto the bench with Lindsay and Rennings as 18th and 19th players.

Would really like to see Lindsay onto the bench. Doubt it happens but missing our two best props and Marto i think a bit more muscle is required on the bench. I really like Kenny and at some point in the future id like to see him develop into playing a bigger role in the side but right now I just dont see what he is offering and I dont think the short stints he is playing(so far) would be helping him to much in terms of furthering his Hooking ability.

Yeah they are doing coaching clinics

and still need to train along with extra numbers incase of covid

Hopefully Smith comes in and possibly Kenny out. Bench does look light with both Salmon and Kenny in it.

Yep 3 genuine forwards to rotate through the pack and Salmon for injury cover and potentially to give Api a short rest if required, maybe bring him on for Kiks short rest then shift him to hooker for a short rest for Api when Kiks comes back on.

I will be happy if he can defend well and make a few metres. If he can do that for 80 mins he will be exceeding my expectations.

I expect come finals time that will be the bench. C.Smith looks most likely then work out the 14 after that.

I know teams are going smaller bench. It works for your middle but we are best with Yeo playing 80. Api is going next year so who cares if he burns out should get 80 mins too.
Using that as a guide. 2 props, an edge and a 14 is the best bench

Granted it is only NSW Cup but he has been going pretty good. Right side is the weaker side so hasn't got much ball

Ave 70m a game. 56 tackles 3 missed in 130min of playing time has a try and try assist to go with that.

The full timers have looked good in NSW Cup which is what you need when you have to make changes

I’m optimistic Chris Smith and J’Maine can do a job for us.

Carrying both Mitch Kenny and Jaemon Salmon on our bench remains a worry for me. I would prefer having Salmon and probably Lindsay Smith but I doubt that’s what will happen.

Martin is the only injury that occured on the training paddock.

Leota, To'o, Fish all happened during games.

Pretty sure they all missed some games through injury over the last two years mate.

they were alot more serious injuries too. really cleary and dyl should have been season ending.
