Spot on vic injuries happen .even Cleary stated many of those guys should not be on the feild last year but great injury management got them there

Murraymob that's not what you originally said.
Change of training staff has certainly changed our luck on the injury front .none for 2 years now stacks already

Gee it's early in the year to be playing the blame game.

Do you think if they had those injuries at the start of the season they really would've 'managed' them and let them play? That is crazy they got them to play because it was the finals. We have the same head physio we had that time last year for the record. The head of high performance went to Newcastle where they have had multiple injuries including Ponga, Safiti, and season ending one for Brailey amongst others.

Most clubs (in fact nearly all clubs) have similar abilities in regards to how injuries are managed.

Injuries sadly or lack of them are often due to nothing more than luck.

this game worries me. Not that i care if we loose in round 3 i care that its to the bloody knights 😂😂😂

Living up here in the Hunter I am of a similar view.

I would like to think that Penrith can still win even with the players out, it's a chance for the backup players to shine.

Pretty sure they all missed some games through injury over the last two years mate.

Especially this time of the year

Round 3 last year.
Api
Cleary
Edwards goes off mid game

Across the comp is the same. Coaches don't risk guys yet

Let's talk about the real hot topic from Team List Tuesday - Harry Grant named at #9 at 4pm. Then at 4:45pm, is announced to have COVID, and is out of the game.

Why bother naming him them? It's just burning a spot in your usable squad.

They have also named Brandon Smith at #23 - less than two weeks removed from a broken hand. Surely he's not right to go.

So they're left with Tyran Wishart at #14, Jayden Nikorima at #21 and possibly Nick Meaney at #19 to cover their Hooker rotation. And none of them are gonna get the job done against a big and mobile Eels pack.

So either:
a) Grant doesn't have COVID and will play
b) Smith has recovered and will play
c) The JOB Squad will fill the gaps and they'll lose

But if elite coaches don't play games, does that mean Bellamy is no longer elite?

f**k my head is starting to hurt

Smith confirmed starter. If Storm put a regular in the reserves they play

I was told he won't hurt it worse. Was only named if Grant was out

How do we keep firming in the betting whilst losing more players?
Punters are throwing dollars down .the odds have nothing to do with the team they change depending where the money is going .looks like the punters don’t rate the knights

I am not a betting lady, can you, please, explain betting odds? All I know is the higher the price the better return one gets on their money.
