I like how the people on that forum just jump on the bandwagon and abuse the shit out of a guy who can't defend himself, simply because he gave his opinion on the game.

I think my favourite comment on there was the one about that review being an opinion piece and not a review. What the f**k is a review if not an opinion piece?

Wow!!
What little respect I ever had for Ross is gone. He has the nerve to call someone a hypocrite when he is the biggest on the site. With all his little c*cksmokers jumping on board to back him up.
The review sounded fine.

He shouldn't be embarrassed, should be ashamed.

Your words Ross, dont know if your talking to him or yourself.

The review was too nice.

How often do other managing directors from game development companies post on forums? No idea what he is trying to accomplish. Just comes across as a sook. Obviously negative feedback hurts him most - the bank account. But you'd think arguing with reviewers and consumers won't help and only damages his name and the business.

Or how about when you make a break, have nobody in front of you - and the fullback magically teleports in front of you and tackles you?

it's ridiculous! arl 96 was nearly 2 decades ago, and the graphics might not have been the best, but the game play was good and fun, and that is the most important thing

If this is going to come out on PC (Steam) soon, then I guess there might be patches to fix the bugs. Also, with the stupid AI, is it better if you choose a harder difficulty???

I love how HBK619 has completely abandoned LU. Coming on here and seeing all of our valid criticisms must really get them worked up.

A D grade studio with zero accountability and zero ambition to make a quality game. They're happy to release the exact same gameplay code with a fresh coat of paint that doesn't even look that impressive itself anyway then slap a 100 AU dollar price tag on it.

Despicable conduct and an example of the worst type of game developers. No wonder the Aussie development scene is dead in the water. That is the last time I buy a Rugby League game until someone new is making it.

I'm going to get this if we lose on Friday (if we win, I will need funds for a syd trip). Is this game at least better than RLL1?

Either a very lame troll or you're just a moron playing on Amateur so you can win by 60+ and convince yourself you're a superstar.

Nah mate, I just disagree that the game is "broken" - RWC 2015 is broken; this game has a few bugs but is a solid effort for a sport that has a global market smaller than handball with which to support its development costs.

It is broken, but if you enjoy it then keep having fun. I know I liked the game initially, until the issues became too much to tolerate.

I will wait and see what it is like on PC. If they have patches that fix the bugs, then I'll get it.

The game for me was a massive chore. Switched between BAP coach, BAP Player, and 9's in free mode but f**k me, terrible.

If you can't hold my attention span for 3 days you've got no hope.

Seeing the guy react to bad reviews and peoples opinions on the game.... embarrassment. Grow up you stupid old fool.

Just picked up RLL2 on my lady friends IPAD and some of the stuff is ridiculous (on easy level at least). Tim Mannah length of the field tries, teams defending on the dead ball line from penaltys inside the 10 metre line, every computer team kicking a field goal every 5th tackle (I beat a team 70 to 49 and they had 7 field goals), on the try line defence almost impossible. It's also weird to see players pirouetting for about 30 metres. I hope RLL3 sorted out of a few of these quirks.

For those of you who have played the great RLL2 is there actually hope that I'll find a way to stop noted dynamos like Todd Lowrie running through 8 of my defenders once every two sets?

Couple more things I've notice that are starting to piss me off are the kick chase is useless, the defender can turn around and field the ball run it back up and get tackled almost in the same position where they started. Also trying to kick out of dummy half is useless it never registers when you hold down L2. And one more which is only small but fits in with stop go gameplay is when you kick off and the defender catches the ball the chasers stop for a quick second and start running again.

Yeah, I've defended the game here a bit over what I see as unreasonable comparisons with one hundred million dollar titles like Madden etc, but Ross needs to calm down...

I saw that review and didn't think it was very fair or even very good as far as reviews go (pretty average site for game reviews in terms of quality), but Ross got WAY too emotionally invested and really seemed to struggle to control his temper.

The dude needs to step back and remember this is the internet. The game is selling at no.1 in Aus and NZ, so that should give him enough confidence and comfort to ignore the odd rough review.

That review was more than fair.

Ross and other fan boys prattle on about not comparing it to Fifa etc and that we should be grateful for having a game. If I had the choice between no league game and my $89 back or RLL3, I'd be putting $89 towards the next iteration of the Fifa franchise where I'll get 50 hours+ of enjoyment, rather than the 4 or 5 hours of mind boggling game play I have endured so far.
