I cannot recall a single time in my life where Canterbury has ever been shortened to CAN - since these shortenings came into vogue (late 90's) Canberra has always been around with the monopoly on it.

GLD looks less messy IMO.

We could even go NRLCANBUL tonight if it worries anyone. I think we should have a core list to go from but at the same time be flexible to change the odd name when it makes it easier to write. Tonight's CBRCBY is an example.
