Matthew Hurst, a 112kg second rower from Wagga is to sign with Manly for 3 seasons.
This season for the Magpies he scored 16 tries, and won the comp's player of the year. He also runs the 100m in 11.5 seconds, not bad for someone 112kg!

EVEN at the tender age of 18, Simon Grix has the potential to dominate National League One.

The England under-17 international is an outstanding talent who will have benefited massively from the Super League experience he gained last season.
But it would still be foolish to expect too much of a player who has yet to find the kind of week-to-week consistency that only arrives with experience.
Even so, he is certain to be involved on a regular basis with Anderson’s biggest problem likely to be where to play the multi-talented teenager.
