So the Rabbits "dump" half their team for one player. Must set the precedence for a good culture there. I somehow don't think any player is being dumped for anyone. These are peoples lives - not a PC game.

All except Crocker are off contract. It's not shedding if you just don't re-sign a player.

How confident are you mix?

Very.

The 'before June 30' part is still up in the air, but im very confident that he will be here at least for next year. Our discussions are progressing very well so far.

I trust the source.

The same source has indicated that Seymour's injury is worst than first thought.

If so, He'd have to play prop. Gee that would boost the quality of the team. Gives the Warriors a more Kiwi look which is much better for marketing purposes.

Luke Patten - Huddersfield Giants

He has a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave a year early if he wants to go to the ESL. It may be a good idea as he is starting to show his age and is past his peak but has given us tremendous service and is still playing solid this year.

Him leaving though will pave the way for Barba to start in the #1

Yeh, ive read them but i doubt it, they see Barba as a long term FB option and we need signings in the forwards not the backs

I would have no idea if that could happen. Is Hodgson retiring? There is no way Patten would be close to taking his spot.

CANTERBURY veteran Luke Patten is considering a three-year offer from Huddersfield, which would see him finish up at Belmore a season early.

The 30-year-old fullback has a get-out clause to join the UK Super League in his contract - although club officials wouldn't deny Patten a decent payday in lieu of the wonderful service he has given the Bulldogs since 2001.

In England this week, Patten's agent George Mimis is expectedto continue discussions with the Giants.

Patten, however, is pondering whether his battered frame - which has endured persistent back problems of late - can handle the punishment until the end of 2013.

Looks like it could be Warrington. Would be a great signing.

Brett Hodgson to quit Huddersfield Giants at end of season

• 32-year-old rejects one-year contract offer
• Warrington believed to be likely destination

Huddersfield will today confirm that Brett Hodgson, their Australian full‑back and captain who was named Man of Steel as Super League's outstanding player last year, will leave the club at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old has rejected the Giants' offer of a new one-year contract, informing them that he intends to accept a two-year deal from another Super League club, believed to be Warrington. He will stay with Huddersfield for the rest of this season, adding further spice to the fifth-round Challenge Cup tie against Warrington in a fortnight, a repeat of last year's final.
Hodgson, a former NRL Premiership winner with the Wests Tigers who made six State of Origin appearances for New South Wales, has scored 260 points in 29 appearances for the Giants, becoming only the fourth Australian to win the Man of Steel award.
He is expected to replace Chris Hicks, a goalkicking wing, on Warrington's overseas quota next season and the move also raises major questions about the future at the club of Richie Mathers, their current full-back.
Hull climbed to fifth in the Super League table with an unconvincing 12-8 win against Wakefield Trinity last night. Richard Whiting scored both of their tries.
