It's career suicide if he doesn't. We saw Stone murder his own career for favouritism, so it's not like it's unthinkable.

My assumption so far has been that he needs a figurehead in the team given he is cleaning so many out and Hodkinson is on a long-term contract and hard to remove. I am guessing he also expected more out of him.

I would be shocked if he wants to re-sign him when his contract comes up, and if I'm right what's the point of keeping him around next year when we have money and there are quality halves out there.

We could sign two good halves this year. Or just sign one and partner them with Lamb.

Give me Tyrone Roberts back at least.

Yep, I'd welcome back Tyrone at this stage. He was never this bad. There is no point keeping him around next year at all. There's no point keeping him around right now.

I agree with all of this. Brown could lose his job if he stays loyal to Hodkinson. We've seen this before. Hodkinson has given him no reason to resign him. None. In fact, he's highlighted the fact he is not up to this level.

Now, I would take anyone over Trent atm, even Tyrone but surely we can find a better long term prospect.

At least he can create things. Might have even made some contact on the blokes that strolled past Hodko for points tonight, too. I love Hodkos 0 missed tackles tonight, letting blokes over for free is a good way to make that stat look good.

He stated that he is regarded as indefinite. And that includes a possibility that he may not play this year.
