Totally agree. The clubs will blame the nrl and if the nrl chooses to enforce it the same clubs will bring them into line by threatening a breakaway league.

Sound familiar? And guess who would be bankrolling the rebel league?

Will never get that far though as the nrl will toe the line.

Read in the market watch chat that we are offering a deal to Luke Yates. We are not offering deals to Pearsall, Feeney or Pauli. Also read we might give Starling a cheap contract and we would look at Tolman and Graham for the right price. No idea how reliable that is though

I am happy with that, Yates is a goer, Starling offers experience and the other three, Pearsall, Feeney and Pauli ain't shown much/enough.
Thought they might have given Pauli another year due to accident/injury but ok with it.

Starling can go- he's played 80 odd games and his entire finals record was coming off the bench in 2014 and losing both matches. He's hardly the type of experienced campaigner we need going forward as a team.

Yates needs to train at hooker...

I would go Pauli over Starling simply as Pauli has a high ceiling and Starling a very low one, but I understand Starling is apparently a fantastic club man and influence. Good reserve grader.

If re-signed, he's only gonna be used as depth. Currently we only have 4 front rowers signed for 2018 and we're losing Stockwell, Paea, Mataora and probably Pauli, we're gonna need some depth there.

Putting this in here just because..
Lol @ Tariq Sims, Dragons down by 2 points, last secs of game, he has the ball close to the try line, bunnies hanging off him, he throws the ball to no-one, and he ends up over the try line
He just needed to fall over and succumb to the tackle and he scores

Apparently foran and woods contract wont be registered till bulldogs are compliant with being over the cap.so with this said all they need to do is hand over graham to us and there sorted.just not sure if he bodys up to it to play 2 good years for us.raiders also look like there over lets grab paulo .now that would improve our starting foward pack:blush:

Graham has the experience we need. Regardless of his age the bloke still gives it 100% every week and his influence would be incredible for the Saifitis and Ese'Ese but more importantly I feel guys like Yates and King. Graham is the guy who when the game is on the line and players are struggling to lift - no matter how battered and stuffed he is - who will take the ball and continue to push. He's the kind of player who is going to push the young talent to keep going, to keep their heads up. Maybe I'm delusional but if we had Graham in our side this year we're not last, we're probably not even second last. He's the leader we've all been wanting, the leader the side needs.

Nobody is popping up anytime soon, nobody noteworthy at least and from what we can get from Toohey, we STILL have plenty left in the bank. Graham is worth his price, even if what we see on the field doesn't justify it.

Pass on Graham. Next year will be one year too many for him.

If we could get him for the right price doing similar minutes to Heighington at the Sharks he would be a great buy

8. D Saifiti
10. Ese'ese

14. J Saifiti
15. Graham

Not bad

Might have a bit to do with King actually being able to concentrate on footy this season.

You still think a lot of the squad has gone backwards this season Slots????
