Did you rip in to Scott last week for his performance Slots????

How many minutes did Scott play before being forced off with injury last night????

I noticed you keep referring to a 'golden point' game as if he played longer minutes than usual.

Surely you of all people wouldn't be trying to persuade others that he played huge minutes because of the extra 5 each way when he wasn't even on the field for the extra time would you???

Just in case you skim over this post I'll inform you now that Scott managed 88 m in 37 minutes, some of which he was already busted. But you must have missed that right???

By all means, rip into the bloke when he puts in a dud performance but to have a go at the bloke when he can't run is just a little........ immature.

Hopefully for Matt Scott's sake it isn't an ACL.

We possibly have dodged a bullet although he sounds like a pretty dedicated trainer and he may come back just as strong but it's a tough ask for a 32/33 year old to come back from a knee reco

Seeing that game just wants me to want us to get Taumalolo even more. We won't get him, but how good would it be.

What facts?

Scott played 60 minutes last week and made 200m, earning himself an improved offer from the cows.

This week he played 37 minutes for 88 metres. He came off in the last 10 minutes, so the max he was playing without golden point was 47. Are you suggesting he was going to make 100m in those last 10 minutes to equal last weeks effort?

And he wasn't Inglis running around on a dud knee for half a game, they pulled him straight away.

I know what the club has said about going to the market for a fullback but...

I would really like to see us float a 1 year prove it deal to Locke. He is trying to put it back together in the QCup, is experienced, is apparently hungry for redemption and this would essentially be his last chance.

We don't need to play him in fg, he could compete for a spot while sharing time with Meaney in reggies. Gives us more depth for our backline if/when we need it.

I'm not in a position to assess whether he is up to it from a mental/attitude stanpoint, but it wouldn't take much for the Club to find out.
