Pretty boilerplate response from Brown. Yeah we've looked and we're not sure. Hes one of a number of players. Based on that response, I don't think it's going to happen.

Beale chasing us and being a depth player = cheap. Which is our style. If he is "next man up" we are in a good position. If he is first picked we aren't. Still prefer Elliott.

Fact is we need to fill out not only our FG roster but our Reggies too. Beale would be on a very low contract here and not be in our top 17. It wouldnt be a bad depth signing at all

Yes Beale is certainly no world beater, but would be more consistent & dependable than some of the specimens we trot out at the moment, making the same dumb mistakes week after week, never improve & never learn. It seems as if they have never been coached properly from a young age, as all their instincts are exactly the opposite to what they should be (think George Costanza). At least one of them is definitely gone next year!

Apparently talks between James Grahame and the dragons have stalled a bit and the dragons may be looking at Blair.

I believe the issue is the amount of money the dragons want the dogs to pay of grahames contract.

Beale isn't the type of signing to get too excited about, but I can still see the potential upside if we were to bring him in.

- He was part of a premiership winning team last year which has got to count for something
- He's been around for a while and has played test football as well so plenty of experience under his belt
- He's a fairly versatile footballer and could cover wing/centre/FB if we needed

I would imagine Brown would be looking at him as a solid player who can fit into the game plan and get a job done, he's probably not commanding a lot of money either so I doubt it would cost us too much under the cap.

Kidding yourself if you think we're signing Beale for nsw cup lol.

It's comical that people think that a player who has been a consistent member of Cronulla's backline the last three seasons and won a grand final with them would be signing to play NSW Cup with a team who has won back-to-back-to-back wooden spoons.

He'll be a starting centre with Moga next year if signed.

It's comical that you call him consistent when he's been absolutely dreadful for the last few years.
