Tigers offered him a 1st grade development contract when he was only 17-18 and a fair way off 1st grade.Do we know why Madden left here? Would he want to come back?

I think a fullback could be found pretty easily and at a decent price. Someone like Charlie Staines wouldn’t cost the world and would be worth a punt at fullback until we figure out whether Bailey Hodgson is going to cut it in the NRL.Madden is pretty average, not sure why we'd pin any hopes on him when the team is so lacking in effort players
Our only real option is to move KP to 6 and find a fullback with ticker and maybe a leader or 2
Doubt we can though
I'll say it until I'm blue in the face, we need guys like Connor TraceyI think a fullback could be found pretty easily and at a decent price. Ponga at 6, Brooks at 7?
If you are going to put that much effort into talking, try coming up with players not on long-term contracts?I'll say it until I'm blue in the face, we need guys like Connor Tracey
What? I said like him champIf you are going to put that much effort into talking, try coming up with players not on long-term contracts?
I could name PLENTY of players we need “like” them. What? I said like him champ
Effort players who put in and are behind other guys at good clubs
Maybe learn to read before carrying on like smugzilla
Haha you want to talk about achievability and you throw up "like Nathan Cleary"I could name PLENTY of players we need “like” them.
i’ll start. We need a player like Nathan Cleary
Actual, achievable recruits mate. What’s the point otherwise?
Oooft. Big swing and a miss here.Haha you want to talk about achievability and you throw up "like Nathan Cleary"
It's far more achievable to look for solid effort players stuck in reserves than current rep halfbacks isn't it
Maybe try not being such a muppet
Whoosh! Straight over your head the point goes.Haha you want to talk about achievability and you throw up "like Nathan Cleary"

I could get on board with that.If the answer is to move Ponga to the halves, then how about Garrick to play fullback. Once Turbo is back, Garrick is on the wing again. He's proven really good for Manly, plus he's a goal kicker and a good one at that
No, I got your point. It just wasnt a very good one and not really relevant to what i was sayingWhoosh! Straight over your head the point goes.
Careful mate, dont mention players currently under contract for next year. Not allowed to talk about themIf the answer is to move Ponga to the halves, then how about Garrick to play fullback. What's the best resource for off contract players? Can't just be NRLs website..Sounds great. But have you looked at the off-contract list?
I think we all know that a player having a contract means very little if they have a mind to go elsewhere

No not at allSo what are you suggesting? We break the rules and go hit up a bunch of contracted players telling them to whinge for a release?
Contracts can be broken, but not like that.
