One thing about league, as opposed to Football (Soccer) is there is no selling of players, therefore no resale value. Point being it is more useful to sign old players if they are performing. In soccer you take a huge financial loss when they retire or depreciate, but in League its all about what they do on the field.

Fantastic news. He might not get much love at times, but his defence (and even his attack in recent weeks off the back of good go forward from our pack) is a real asset to the team. Watch him in the wrestle and he always gives our guys an extra second to get back in the defensive line. The penalties aren't there anymore as well.

Apparently we've shown interest in some Bradford Bulls 18 year old backrower called John Bateman, along with a number of other clubs here and in England. I know nothing about ESL so hopefully someone else can shed some light on him but a quick google search shows he's pretty highly-rated.
