Knowing how influential Paulo can be in attack, how many of our losses this year would have been turned into wins? He opens up the entire red zone in attack. I doubt he would have made our defence much worse by himself. But if we signed him and Boyd our defence would be a lot worse.

Paulo defensively he isn’t much worse then Matagi or Vave - who are both lazy defenders!!

Yeah but if they could, for example, get someone to take Eastwood at 500k now they could potentially restructure contracts for the ones they want to re-sign (if any) using that money.

What if the Dogs only agree to release him to a club they don't hate? What if Klemmer wants to party on the GC? What if he wants to spend his days off fishing on the Barrier Reef and heads to NQ?

FFS people there are so many more factors that decide where a player goes, some of the narrow views on here are ridiculous. Klemmer would have to want to come and the Dogs would have to want to release him to us, unless both parties have no other option. And in that case I'm not sure it's a great outcome either.

It's a gap we need filled and we need to get the best available if he is available we need to nab him.
He has a young family you would think he'd want to stay in Sydney and not have to move.

What if he's on 1.2mill in his last year thanks to BackEnd Des and say the Raiders are willing to take that whole amount? We haven't got all the info so to say our entire recruitment team should be arse holed if we miss Klemmer is naive at best

I think Eastwood is still a first grader. His carries are strong. He just suffers from having better forwards in front of him, who are capable of long minutes, much like Evans at the Chooks.

Morris boys and Eastwood could free money up this year. But what would you pay them for half a season?
It would only be a top 8 contender interested if had an injury and needed cover. And when does it have to happen by? I reckon only 6 clubs would think they can win it at this stage. The rest wont bother buying any just to go a little better.

Boyds been ok but nothing exceptional. I would of thought 600- 750k get the best props in game. But only guessing.
Id say 600k for Boyd is ok if gets back to form is a decent price. Paulo has more upsode and more damaging.
