What if we play more of a “power” game with bigger forwards - rather the style we are currently playing.

We need guys with heart and pride.

Lane has been a top 17 player for the last 23 games his club has played.

Why wouldn't he be one with us?
It can't be because of the quality of our roster.

Matagi / vave were also the same when they signed with us, but neither have been guaranteed of top 17 spots.

We are running last. We where seen as a title chance. It hasn't been a bad season, its been a disaster. And our biggest signing is playing NSW CUP.

Ive said it 10000 times. To win a comp ypu need 2nd rpwers who can bust the line by running straight and hard. You need big strong physical wingers and forwards. One who work hard and run hard. We have flaws in our squad all over place and not a junior in NSW cup capable of first grade.

Like how Souths play? Power forwards, Cook running off the back of that? Possibly, as long as BA gave whoever our 9 is more responsibility in attack. It would also require us to get some bigger forwards (not just Paulo). And seeing how many forwards we have already that will be on top 17 money I don't know if we will be getting too many more quality big men. We'd probably need another big middle and edge forward to play that game. Fingers crossed eh?

Look its nice too see little guys have a go like Bevan. But for guys like him to make it they have to be special. At Saints they get away with the little fullback cause he is electric and there big and brutal all over paddock.

I reckon our forwards are good enough aslong as we have 2 powerfull wingers, a strong fullback and big centres.

I hope we can move MJ on. Hayne and Guth in centres would go ok. Just need 2 strong wingers and a fullback to help cart ball up. If we land another powerfull forward we can get away with Bevan at fullback.

Gutherson in centres may help defense. His attack be ok. He wouldn't be dynamite but good enough

Hayne isn't fast enough to play fullback in the current game... and for that matter neither is Gutho. Both late Dragons tries on Thursday night were from kicks, with our fullback nowhere near either one.

I agree.

Hindsight is wonderful, but I reckon the match-winning Dragons try gets stopped if French is fullback, because he cleans up the kick.

Yes. Yeah the burgess trio are bigger then what we have but Paulo is more skilful but yes we wouId need another bigger body to even match their style.

Their edge players arent that bigger, but attack better then ours, I reckon Moeroa is more skillful then what he offers (but our halves rarely put set plays on for him) - it’s probably the biggest question I have about BA, how he uses him.

Taka could play a similar role to Sutton.

Maloney / Pritchard do have running games that are potentially like cook.
