Only difference is I reckon BA has had better teams at his disposal.
St George in mid 2000s had about 6 or 7 origin players that brown had at his disposal.

Barrett, Luke Bailey, Kite, Gasnier, Cooper, Timmins, Ryles off the top of my head. Probably a few more I missed.

They like parramatta should have won a comp in that period. Only Bennett taking over in 2009 got them across the line.

I stand corrected.

St George, much like us, were massive chokers, before Bennet's arrival.

They prob should of won one between 2000 and 2008 before WB came on board. When Bennett took over in 2009 they had a decent roster, but he also brought in a few decent players himself like Costigan, Boyd, Smith, Fien..
Then they still went bang, bang out in 09.
Iced it the next year though.

I’m up late barracking for Kyrios. Sure, I’m drunk. But I’m committed!

Potentially a great Aus sport moment.

He has a bit of Hayne “09” about him.

What if a couple of juniors to come through are better options going forward??? He's just an average first grader. Russell already is probably a better option.
I dare say he’s on little enough that he won’t be blocking anyone else‘s place in the team. Him and Dunster started the year in first grade. Which one was filling in for Sivo?

I reckon he’s a much better option than Opacic on the bench.
That’s because you’re only thinking of attack. But the thing that would most likely to ruin a team’s competitiveness during a game is loss of a winger or centre in defence. I just don’t think Perham’s defence is good enough.

Edge defence requires a lot more than just size to the point where size is one of the last considerations of a defender in the two or three positions. These guys need lateral movement more than any other quality. In fact size is generally antithetical to lateral movement. It’s why there are so few giant centres any more. Meanwhile wingers can get away with being bigger because they are required to make a lot of hit ups, plus in defence they just jam in rather than having to move laterally in response to an overlap. The biggest outside backs are all wingers these days. There are several over 105kg. Centres are either short or lean, because they need more defensive agility than lumbering wingers.
How many NRL centres can you name under 6 ft? I can name a few wingers.

You should know that Poupou. Which side does Sivo play? And who of Russell and Dunster (first) played that side when Sivo was not present?

After the Warriors game we only play one side outside the top 8. The Bulldogs.
Will be interesting but I like it. I feel playing tough games means you learn to lift your standards to win. Much better then a soft run in.
Weprobably only need to beat the Warriors and Dogs to make the top 8 . 26 points will do it this year I'd say.
