I cannot stand these two pricks.
Great point. The Storm are the biggest grubs in the game. I have never hated a team more than them since I've been following the game. What about the careers of the players that played on the apposing sides during those seasons?? They don't have a grand final win to their names thanks to the storm.
Can they celebrate their careers without pretending they won legit premierships? That describes most players, especially ones who only played for four years.
He's right that it's not Arthur's fault, but it's not O'Neill's fault either. Improving your roster isn't like going shopping where there's shelves full of everything you need and enough for everyone. There's no bidding war for the last loaf of bread. Every recruitment decision depends on competing factors, and the best way to avoid getting into cap trouble is to refuse to overpay. We have a pretty good roster, and have had for a few years. These merkins know what they're doing, but the salary cap and competitive nature of recruitment/retention means the roster isn't going to get better year after year after year. There will be peaks and troughs.Someone made a good point. No it wasn't me.
I think BA and Mark O’Neill need to take the blame for some poor recruitment decisions. I’m happy with our forwards and I think BA’s strength is to obtain the maximum amount of output from 2nd tier forwards. However BA and MON’s recruitment of outside backs to effectively plug the holes left by Tom Opacic and another winger that makes metres is a huge oversight. If we had a winger like Brian To’o we instantly become a top 4 team when you look at our pack and go forward when it’s supported effectively.
60's answer:
''BA doesn’t do the recruiting. Do you think he wants an incomplete roster with limited options in the backs?''
Is he serious? I know he sounds a bit like Pou but again I ask is he serious? I don't mind listening to these guys but seriously 60's has criticised BA as much as Paul Kent has to Ricky Stuart.

We've sacrificed obtaining outside backs mid season, where we're exceptionally weak, in preference to purchasing mid season signings in positions where we already had plenty of players available, in the forwards. He's right that it's not Arthur's fault, but it's not O'Neill's fault either. FMD you merkins have short attention spans...There's no bidding war for the last loaf of bread.
If you didn't have me on ignore you would've seen the thousands of words I've spent explaining this sort of thing. A club's recruitment staff do the recruiting. Coaches coach the team.He said, BA doesn't do the recruiting. So who the f**k does?
Absolutely. If we're going to have a Brian To'o in our team we'll need to create or find one on the cheap. To'o is one of the best players in the game ffs. He would be on very good money.I know its an outside opinion from a fan of a club dynabolted to the bottom of the table.....but......
Tigers chased Moses hard but fair play to Parra, you guys kept him for less than the Tigers offered (supposedly) but still north of $1M for 4 years, DBrown, same story, Guffo big bucks. Decisions have been made by your club that are going to have implications on the rest of your roster that might mean you cant just "sign a Brian To'o".
He has major input you f**king idiot. You reckon Sarantonis is telling him to buy Charlie Staines and that it may be forced upon him even if he doesn't rate him? f**k you are getting on my nerves lately. If you didn't have me on ignore you would've seen the thousands of words I've spent explaining this sort of thing. He's on less than $500K. I'd give him $650K.Absolutely. If we're going to have a Brian To'o in our team we'll need to create or find one on the cheap. To'o is one of the best players in the game ffs. He would be on very good money.
