I wouldn’t say that he is an WT enemy, but when fate or conditions are made manifested, he doesn’t quite seem to be in our corner.

Phil Gould seems to have a grudge with Sheens that goes way back hence giving him the nickname shifty and telling people never play cards with Sheens because he will have you believe he has a pair of two's when he has a full house.
Apart from that as far as I know he has never said how this nickname came about. It seems to me Gould is all about getting back at Sheens or at least getting on top of him somehow.

Add to that the Tigers would be chasing Ciraldo and Gould wanted him why not scare him away from the Tigers with comments that allude to the team being even weaker than they were at the time.

Anyway just to prove I am wrong Silverdale, would you remind me again of the 6 quality contracted players the Tigers had at the time who have torn up their contract and left due to Madge leaving.
