You explain how you arrived at your conclusion from evidence gathered from the media…as u appeared to do with your “wasn’t too far from the truth” with the “secret 6” theory from Gus’s media comments. Problem was this didn’t happen. Even Jacko who “hated the world” coz he had to leave WT .(see todays article) and he loved Madge..

One Jacko doesn’t a make an argument, it’s not even relevant. If that’s your proof, you’re in trouble.

I’m waiting for your proof that Gus wasn’t right on this occasion.

What is footy IQ?

Is it keeping Brooks? I don’t think so. Nor should Madge have been sacked mid season for the person who was supposed to recruit the coach.

Critter is harder to love.

That said, going to the dogs hasn’t helped or developed Burtos game.

Smug cannot be artificially created. You can taste the impurities and they are often unhealthy.

The dogs pack looks like it is better suited to the dance of the sugar plum fairies than footy. Kiks probably looking to retire as well. He’s worked hard, done his bit for the game, I bear no grudges.

Is he a genuine go-to forward? Yes, but the considerable comfort of smug “shock and awe” no longer ridea with him.He can try his little tricks but unless he’s brought in late, he’s going to be pulverised. That kind a player with an unorthodox game, a few innate gifts even, they can get isolated.

Creative forwards are always value. I wish him well, but he’s up against it. Ahh, the gold trinkets!

Proof that the salary cap is working. You blokes should be fine with the amount of talent you keep unearthing, as long as you keep following the Storm and keep quality players in key positions as the basis of your team.

We were starting to look like we were following that pattern in 2013, but unfortunately the club wasn't on the same page as a coach.

Kiks has improved in his defense overall since his few breakout years, he'll be the first one to smash up opposition halves, it'll be intresting how destructive he is alongside pangamyjunior, and mahoney

Yes, but the smug game is tight and you play your best as a unit which is …much of the time.

The dogs don’t seem so engaged, but I guess ciraldo is the man to try to deliver the philosophy.

Kiks, I think he will be out of his comfort zone a bit.

Footy IQ is knowing, that not one player left WT because of Madge being fired and therefore Gus is full of shit. As he was with denying any interest in Ciraldo… (Even without using big words).
And knowing that players that talk Madge up could be just trying to hang on to their spot. Without great success at times. (Refer above)

Kikaus defence is extremely under rated. He also seemed to go under the radar in having an absolutely immense 2022 season. Personally I feel a lot of that was due to knowing he was leaving and his last chance to win a comp. Interesting to see if he can continue the 2022 standard at the Dogs or if he’ll go back to his one great, one bone headed play of previous years. My moneys on the latter.
