My first thought (and fear) is we promote the likes of Blake Green or Rory Kostjaysn. They may be fine but I think we need someone fresh and with real experience.
Using the word 'promote' for moving Green or Kostjaysn into a different position seems off.

Our attack looks more dynamic and fluid 8 years ago than today...

Plus, we took the 2... We got 2 tries in the last 3 minutes to win it. How times have changed...

^^ That is extraordinary. Quick pass plays out wide, right at the line, and passes finding their mark. I'd forgotten such a thing existed at the Knights.
That Tyrone try is something else.

We had depth in attack and players took the ball to the line before passing. Watch us now. We stand flat and the ball is shifted left/right to someone standing still.

We are flat for the first few passes.
I reckon it starts with Randall and a slow ball and not moving his feet.

That was my point, ??? Coaching staff should be fixing it if it’s a problem, Randall has done very well this season
What’s the definition of very well? I can’t fault his efforts and defense, but outside of that he is clearly the worst 9 in the comp this year.

Very well is better than expected but if he has obvious problems coaching staff should be correcting we have a few with Hooker experience

I don't think I agree completely. The bloke tries hard, but he has a ceiling, like anyone else. You can't coach a player through a ceiling and give them skills they otherwise don't have, in the space of a couple of months. If you could, we'd just "fix" every backrower we have to play like Steve Simpson.

He was never intended to play a long stretch in first grade. Injuries are the only reason he is. He's playing accordingly.

very well is a stretch, I'd say as well as can be expected for a guy who hadn't been part of any NRL system until age 22. He does certain things well namely defence but he offers none of the things that are needed of a modern dummy half in attack. The fact we don't have anyone else in the squad even remotely capable of competently playing dummy half is an indictment on AOB's ability to build a roster

He has done very well? Is he in the run for a rep selection or Dally M award?

Since when has 'done very well' become to mean 'he is a competent and totally adequate player'? How low are our standards now?
