What Brian Daboll has done with that team - the attitude, the culture, winning games with a terrible roster - is nothing short of amazing. Plenty of similarities to what the Knights are going through.

The bullet had to be bitten last year.

I feel sorry for Brian McDermott who will take over within a couple of months and he has to work with what AOB created here and it's going to be a shit start to his NRL head coaching career because he hasn't had the chance to stamp his style on us in an off-season. Be interesting to see if we give him the reigns heading into next season too.
