Teams with strong foundations don’t put in those sort of performances, teams lose games of football, it happens but tonight was an embarrassment and so far removed from the minimum expectations of a NRL first grade team. We have a tonne of work to do in the next fortnight starting with trying to sign a specialist dummy half and then figuring out what our best 17 really looks like. AOB might’ve earned a reprieve over the past 4-5 weeks but those efforts can quickly be forgotten with a few performances like tonight

He was really starting to win me over this year but the last 2 performances have gone straight back to last year.

Anyway the good thing about a blow out score is that it’s all out on the table now. Obviously a lot of the blame needs to go to the players but the calls AOB makes over the next few weeks will decide his future. I feel bad for the bloke after the recent death of his mother but some tough calls need to be made. He’s in for a big two weeks.
