Kornstar, the rugby league industry consist of many groups inside a small circle, which include players, officials, administrators, player managers and the media not all connected to parramatta but plenty know what goes on in around the club, in fact in and around every club...

Just sayin

I have no doubt it is, it just seems odd that everyone knows how f**ked we are by one signing.......surely there's more to it?

Bart, the only way to put the most-important fatal, last deep thrust of the knife into the dead-heart of the old board is for the current board, admin and coaching staff to excel in all areas over the next two years. Then a vast proportion of the voting membership will be thinking Spags who? DF who? Jodeci who? Porky Pig who? Stagger who? etc, etc.

Ahm, the voting membership just did mate.
What more proof do you need that the fans have had enough of Spags/Fitz and the old regime.
Current board was voted back in 7-0 unopposed.
That's good enough for me.

Blah blah blah...[/B]my point is we've always had a good crop of juniors... dating right back to the 70s under Fearnley. All those years winning the Flowers Memorial Pennant because of depth through all of the relevant grades.

Yes, some years are better than others and things go through waves, but people carry on about the #academy and Nolan being some really special thing? It's no different to what we've been doing before, and to what any other club worth it's salt is doing also.

Will cost us "big time" hey? Signed up for $500K per year, was he? Caused all the current cap problems, did he? Keep on deflecting anything you can onto the current Board, while conveniently ignorng the salary cap mess 3P got the club into, you Spagnolo apologist!

Those who know me well enough no that I'm no apologists I've blamed our plight for every upper management and director associated with our club for years, they're all f**kwitts as far as I'm concerned including current deadshits who refuse to take any responsibility of where the club is at...

And with its success comes the end of the agenda-driven old-board propaganda merchants on this forum. Witnessing their dying off is another joy to experience down-the-line. Look forward to seeing the end of the old brigade. As far as I am concerned, they can all go and get f**ked. :D Completely breaking away from the dark, dark, past is a very good thing for our club and for all fans. Nothing like a glorious sunrise that fills earth/nature with new life.

Well the biggest leaches in the game are player managers and the media and they have access to a lot of information.. I've heard from 2 different people at 2 different clubs and 1 person not associated with any club but close to the game that tell us we're the joke of the NRL and that the rest of the fraternity think the same..

Oh I know we are the laughing stock and we should be.

I don't doubt anything you've said is what you've been told by the way. It just seems of all the things that could f**k us, a 17 year olds contract seems like an odd thing to do it.

Was he going to be top 25 next year? Big money which we're now paying full freight for?

He must have a really bad attitude, done something major or we are just f**king dumb!

Not sure I want to know the real answer.......

I think it was just a performance based decision and given they invested a fair bit on him I year 2 and 3 theydrcidedto cut their losses..

Bongo knows that it was his mate Pete nolan who started this cap mess. Didn't have a calculator and always paid overs. He never knew how tough it was to recruit players in the competitive sydney market. That's why he offered more and more $ than what a player was worth. It s a completely different landscape when you are a recruiter in a "one team one town " environment.

This is one of the dumbest posts I've ever read. For a start we were fined $44988.00 for salary cap beaches in 2010 - the year before Nolan even started! He walked into a mess and then we had the pleasure of Ricky Stuart f**king it all up again when we were finally back on track.

Here's a scoop for ya! Nolan wasn't in charge of the cap.... ;-)

No doubt there will be fools not willing to accept that fact. Funny how Ando seems to avoid criticism from the same people who ignorantly bag Nolan.

Yeah took a bloke like Wayne Bennett to take him from us, what would he know about rugby league?? Lol

If you think our junior depth was fine pre 2011 then you're a complete idiot with no idea....

Last night we had junior Paulo and Pauli Pauli who's contract were extended by Nolan

Daniel Alvaro signed by Nolan from the Broncs

Tepai Moeroa who was part of the wallabies academy and we sneaked under their noses to nab him courtesy of Nolan

Josh Aloia 18th man - stolen from the Warriors system a couple of years back

Semi Redrardra - scouted by Nolan in Fiji

Have a look at our junior and debutants in 2011 and tell me if we were better than??

You're really have no idea do you??

Thanks for setting the record straight Stagger. If Nolan wasn't any good we wouldn't have kept any of his team either, like Anthony Field who is still with us continuing on from where Nolan left off. Thanks to Nolan and Fieldsy at least the recruitment side of things is in good shape.
