Looks like the NSWRL does - so it might be possible. Not sure if anyone keeps up with jersey prices on eBay but crushers jerseys are selling for $400+ these days..
Someone may have asked this already, but who owns the Crushers brand? Everything about it is great and a million times better than the new proposed Brisbane teams. Any chance they could be resurrected?

Terrific article, really enjoyed the read. The short life and brutal death of the South Queensland Crushers, the team that took on the world and lost
The NRL is going back to the future as they add another team to Brisbane. But a quarter of a century ago, the South Queensland Crushers were the first team to try and share territory with the Broncos. This is their story.www.abc.net.au
Super league. Why was the game so big in the early 90’s? Whats changed that it doesn’t seem as big now as it was back then despite all the money in the game now and a bigger population?
interesting read on the crushers. Such a shame we lost those important clubs in the SL fall out.

And salary cap exemptionArko said his biggest mistake was not adding two Brisbane teams at once
but their concern was to ensure the broncos were competitive
the broncos did a great job killing off the crushers then putting a condition that no second team in brisbane be allowed until around 2015
I maintain that, back in 1987, they should have extended an offer for two BRL sides to join. Redcliffe (focusing on the northside of Brisbane) and then Wynnum- Manly (focusing on the south-east) would have been my picksArko said his biggest mistake was not adding two Brisbane teams at once
