Could be a few more days.

RLW Mole has just said Souths will get Roberts ONLY IF we can secure TPA's.

If we can't he will be going to the Broncos guys.

We have no chance then
Don't have any faith in russel crowe or james packer having any connections with any potential high profile and wealthy sponsors

What are your thoughts bro?

Elaborate..........

"The NRL are closely following Roberts' movement, with clubs facing an uphill battle to have the contract registered should be it worth less than the money he had agreed to at the Titans. That means any offer of less than $300,000 is unlikely to be registered by the NRL, after he walked away from the Gold Coast following a contract bungle."

as far as i know, broncos were only offering him $250,000

"The Broncos and Rabbitohs are hamstrung by salary cap constraints, but the Dragons still have a spot open on their roster with the imminent retirement of Dylan Farrell with a back injury. The arrival of Roberts could squeeze Tim Grant out of the Rabbitohs, while Broncos centre Dale Copley has attracted interest from rival clubs ready to pounce should he be forced out of the club."

if souths could arrange grant to go to an english super league club, then souths probably wouldn't have to pay him anything, which would mean souths could offer roberts quite a bit more

I think speculation that his signature is imminent are off the mark somewhat, this looks like it could drag on for quite a bit yet if Broncos haven't even finalised an offer yet.

Alien, Jack Bird is staying at Cronulla until the end of 2017. Sharks can't finalise the deal until after Christmas as people are on holidays.

It's believed St George will now really focus and step up their bid for Roberts.
