Even in the 21st century union confirming it still have a huge fear of Rugby League and shits itself with thought that Rugby League will be given an even playing field.

Rugby Football was the game....we left that sport and as such have no rights to the name. League......just call it LEAGUE and get on with growing the sport....if all the nations playing the sport called it LEAGUE then the IRB wouldn't have a say.......and we'd still have the game!

We spoke up at the Cancelling of the Emerging Nations World Cup which was given the go a head by the RLIF and then cancelled at the last minute because the NRL said they didnt want it to go ahead and the RLIF followed suit.

Not being recognised by Sport Accord has NOTHING to do with us speaking up for what happened, it is purely up to the RLIF to organise that.

I just find it rich that the very ones that first floated the idea of starting a rebel federation would now be the ones pointing fingers.

Reading some of the commentary on there - from people who live in 'non RL' places is really moving. Just shows im not the only expansionist out there.

Theres a Victorian guy there imaging RL being played globally etc.. hes in a country with the most professional RL competition in the world, and lives in an area which the so called 'home of RL' dont show most matches in..

Agree with the sentiment. Rugby league is the most underrated and untapped football code on earth!

I note the petition is now pushing 3000. It's also interesting that in the spool of the statement the issue is described as an "oversight" . A very kind and forgiving description. It's biggotry by union at its worst however treading warily amongst the powers that be with the term "oversight" smooths things over for perhaps a speedier resolution.
