All the plastics in "Italia" garb are just as annoying in the states. I actually shun my 12.5% Italian blood because of them.

I was born in Argentina but raised in Australia, I support Argentina first and Australia second, does that mean I should be deported?

No, you were born in that country....I'm sure there'd be no issues there. You can stay. :D

I'll be on the German bandwagon once Australia are knocked out.

Got some friends over there, have a great affinity for the country and love their football culture and the bundesliga. Love to see them do well. Will only really follow them once Australia are gonskies

Ridders, I always picture you as a white guy in a retro suit pointing or something. But that might just be your avatar. I figure you're bangladeshi or something.

Fish Eel, all this time I was thinking you were a german immigrant of some sort, you know in my experience I find germans adapt far more seamlessly to being australian than any other immigrant group, must be their sensible, laidback demeanour (unlike those insane dutch, craziest non-balkans in europe - nice though).

I've got a place reserved for the German bandwagon if (sigh, once) Australia bomb out as well.

Drinking beer and eating bratwurst in my Volkswagen.

Haha a German immigrant!

I've always been fascinated by the history of the country and have some good friends over there who love there football, hence I started to follow the bundesliga. Also used to live with a German girl, went to the last world cup and just fell in love with their football culture and country.

But I would have loved nothing more than to have done them over!

Why do I support Spain? Let's put it this way... if the Kingdom of Catalonia still existed as a sovereign state separate to Spain, I would be supporting them in the World Cup over Spain (and I would not support Spain at all).

I still support Australia 110% though and would prefer them to go further than Spain, sadly however, I don't think that will happen :( (hence my sig/avatar).

My heritage missed the world cup in controversial fashion against France, so im more than happy to see them failing:)
Agreed!!

Although I'm off Dane heritage as well, so I'll support them but I love the Irish!
