I've always been fascinated by the history of the country and have some good friends over there who love there football, hence I started to follow the bundesliga. Also used to live with a German girl, went to the last world cup and just fell in love with their football culture and country.

But I would have loved nothing more than to have done them over!

Why do I support Spain? Let's put it this way... if the Kingdom of Catalonia still existed as a sovereign state separate to Spain, I would be supporting them in the World Cup over Spain (and I would not support Spain at all).

I still support Australia 110% though and would prefer them to go further than Spain, sadly however, I don't think that will happen (hence my sig/avatar).
