Almost the same for me as except Egan at hooker and Lussick or Sirro to the bench

Always good to give a bit of a rest to Egan but we need the combinations to have as much time together esp. with TMM having to come in for an injured Metcalf

Yeah, I get that. Egan's just the one guy that worries me though.

If Tevaga is there, I'd have him ahead of Ford

Interesting dynamic with Ford losing his starting spot to Curran eh.

Pretty cool how Webster has had the courage to experiment for the finals and tinker with a winning side.

The Bald bros return experiment was interesting too...with Jazz and Walker coming on much later to max out AFB and Tohus anaerobic fitness and to also give the baldies a longer stint as a block of minutes un interrupted for their fitness.

AFB let the cat out of the bag to the media. We have been deliberately playing him long minutes while cutting down his work at training so that his fitness is game fitness and not gym fitness.

He also said the byes left them feeling sluggish, and that he wants to play next week.

It all adds together, it is logical, if your get up and go relies on a game every week because that is what your body has been tuned for, taking away the weekly game run is going to mess with your rhythm big time...and your lungs are gonna be bursting when you return cold to game intensity two weeks later.

AFB believes that this regime we have him on is why he is in career best form.

One therefore assumes all the big minutes players that are getting heavy work loads are on the same routine (Harris, CNK, are two likely candidates for lighter week day work loads you would imagine given their game day output and the way we use them to carry the whole team).

Sam Hewat from SENZ is saying Tohu is out with a back injury and in doubt for the finals

Yeah, Harris out. I'd bring Ale in, probably play Barnett at lock

Where’s Jazz at? Could use his workrate in Tohu’s absence
Hamstring, questionable for finals.

Shit I hope the Tohu thing is a bit of foxing and/or worst case scenario that turns out not to be so. I think we can cover him to a point as long as everyone is fit, but obviously you want him for the big games. Absolutely worst case scenario needs to be ready to go by week 2.

The dude plays broken all the time and is awesome. I'm sure he can manage a stuffed back for the finals. Bloody hope so else we are screwed!

Were we any good this year without him? I don't recall so.

I seem to think this is a bit of foxing with Tohu, we were probably going to rest him this week anyway, to give him a chance him a chance to freshen up for the finals.

Could be.

The club have not said anything yet. Team naming will be interesting, definitely expect Tohu to be out by the sounds.

There has been a lot of false reporting of Warriors injuries of late.

Not saying he does not have an injury, rather the gravity of it really is not clear at all.

If it was season ending the club would have made a press release.

Back injuries are pointless to speculate on because there are so many different diagnosis and the prognosis (expected course of the illness) is entirely dependent on precisely where the injury is and what structures are affected.

We need more news in other words.

Could be anywhere from a mild sprain to more serious.

Some things cannot be jabbed and sent out to go eighty minutes of bash bash.
