It's called a penalty every other day of the week..... Archer will say they got it wrong when he gets the phone call from the club and that will be all.

i think mannah fumbled it - i guess u could say it ended up a loose carry .... but yeah it would probably usually be called a strip .... but the game was on the line and it would have been a gift 2 points and the refs don't have the balls to give penalties like that

Hmm tough loss today.

All I need to say is L.Kelly, you make all us sitting in the stands watching feel like we could put the boots on and run down onto the field and play first grade rugby league and do a much better job. Please just walk away from the game.

At least away from us, very very ordinary.

Mannah was in the process of losing it but still hadn't completely lost control when the warrior pinched it from him.

It was a 50/50 call happy to cop it.

Thought the refs were pretty good to be honest.

I would say if that mannah strip had happened in the first 5 mins not the last 5 it would have been a penalty. But the refs are too scared to blow the whistle when the game is tight with not long left.

And on hoppa him getting picked for origin might be a reward for him playing 75 mins of game 2 last year with a busted shoulder and daley feels he deserves another chance cause he didnt go off and let his teammates down. P

The refs will get away with those bad calls because Arthur says nothing about it. Hasler whinges and it works in his favour. I don't want BA to get to that level but at least mention it........

They missed at least three passes that I saw from Friend inside the Warriors' 20 that went a metre forward.

They're not perfect, but they simply must improve.

This.

When the officiating is rough, call them out on it, ffs.

The Eels have suspended fines for rushing the concussion observation of Nathan Peats and wearing non-compliant away jerseys already this year. The club knows we are copping it from the refs and are trying to rectify it in the proper channels. I have no doubt that they would also have considered just letting BA rip into the NRL but unfortunately it would cost us a lot more than it would for other clubs due to the two suspended fines hanging over our heads.

All in all Semi was the guy who let us down today with his poor hands.
Tim had his best game of the year IMO. We missed Gower.Tepai is promising but Gower at this stage is a better player.

Fa''asso left the hole for they try in golden point, Thou was solid.

We where not too bad, and if semi had a better game we win by 18 IMO

As far as Sandow goes he probably would of been a better option at 14 then de gois ? A super sub that would be worth considering. Next week i would like to see him replace de gois and leave Kelly at 7.I liked how Kelly was barking orders TBH. And our defense was so solid without sandow.

I just don't see how you can restructure a team around Sandow as a #14. He isn't hooker and it would take tremendous time and effort to turn him into one and even then you would lose out on his strengths on the edges. Thus you are then forced to re-jig your halves or fullback when he comes on which is invariably a stupid idea or simply take a loss in the ruck by 'playing' him at lock.

Sandow needs a dominant forward pack to play his best so by taking the hit to the ruck you are simply contributing to the problem. If he can not perform for the team reliably as a starter - and that is the case for mine - then I think we should move him on.

I think he is not worrying about it yet as he is trying to build a culture where the players take responsibility first. I am sure he talks to the refs about decisions (like the report on the Tigers try, when he got the refs to agree it wasn't a try) behind the scenes rather then using the media.

If we get get into serious top 8 or top 4 contention, he blow up more

Archer will come out and tell the Eels it's the wrong call and nothing else will happen. But yes, I think the club know they aren't getting a fair run but unfortunately making any noise about it falls on deaf ears and causes more issues.

ZDC to take IDG's spot next week?

Given that Peats doesn't come off I don't see a reason to carry another dummy half on the bench.

If Peats does get injured in a match we could move Kelly to dummy half and Taka into the halves and Ma'u can play left centre.

I think we need 4 big boppers coming off the bench.

I'm upset about the loss like the rest of you. But there is no doubt in my mind sandow needed a stint in wenty. I even wish RS punted him two years ago. This signing has been a major flop. There's a reason why he isn't signed by a rival club as of yet. I can't believe the mass hysteria going on here.

Do you think that Sandow will change playing for Wenty for a couple of weeks?

We're a multi-million dollar organisation. Those fines are chicken feed. We've paid players more to play for other clubs than anywhere near what those fines will cost us.
